Woooo! A female warrior! My all-female party of badasses is set! (Though I know I'll end up with a bunch of the other characters instead :P)

The temptation will be there, I'm sure. Though I might end up picking them by morals instead (which sounds like it means Mhairi will be coming along, at least for my city elf rogue).

I am sorry I know this is nothing about the theme but in oriigns I walked around mainly with Zevran, Morrigan and my Mabari.

Does anyone knows if we will have our Mabari in Awakening?

haha she sounds great! A lady who can swing a sword and still keep her rack looking good (must be all them new sports bras out) is OK in my books lol

@Allison: It's OK I am sure most of us will be picking her for skills and her moral slant if willing :) Awesome boobs just won't cut it in my fights :D

though if I was male.......

OK so...like...do us females get a male character packing a sock or sumthin? ripped off!

It really does make me wonder what my dog is too busy with that he doesn't have time to accompany me on this mission.

Yes it really sad if my mabari doesn't come along with me :( I once read somewhere you would have again the chance of a Mabari, but then I read the previews and I didn't saw anything about it so... I guess we will have to wait... But my Mabari was a very improatn part of my gaming strategy so if it doesn't come with me it will cut on my tactics...

He's probably being used for breeding ;). I mean, think how many breeders will want the genes of the mabari who took down the Archdemon? He's probably sunning it up in a keep somewhere surrounded by his adoring canine fangirls.

You know that hole he was digging at your camp? Well it's been a few months and that hole is pretty big...;)

Hes recovering from biting about 500 darkspawn, all that blood... Poor bugger might even be the next archdemon.

Sucks though, best NPC is not in the expansion.

You can also mess up mages with a) a templar, B) a mage with the anti-magic Spirit spells, or c) a DW rogue using Momentum and poison and backstabbing them from stealth (or just plain from behind), then stunning them with Dirty Fighting, then backstabbing them more, then stunning them with Riposte, then backstabbing them more, and if they're still not dead, switching on Dual Strike and watching the carnage. If they have Coup de Grace, that'll probably get you an extra backstab or two to a stun. Oh, or d) an archer with Arrow of Slaying.

Jus' sayin'.

I just like to have the option should I choose it. Also, as my main is a DW Warrior damage dealer, I am in sore need of a tank - so Mhairi is a very, very welcome addition to the team. I'm still trying to decide between Anders and Velanna for my mage. I like Anders more as it stands, but Velanna's trailer was so terrible that I want to give her a try just to get a better impression. heh, oh well, its all up in the air until the game lands anyway! But my Kallian Tabris is looking forward to soldiering with the girls. ;)

My dog went after Morrigan. I told him to track down the smell of his putrid, half-eaten hare. So I'm stuck with Oghren.

I will be so amazingly amused if its Sigrun who keeps commenting on rack size, rather then Oghren

One of the advantages of breastplates is, that they can be shaped any way you like them. So basically 'steel cups' for the ladies, 'steel codpieces' for the men.

And ever since I met Loghain's adjudant (Ser Cauthrien?) I wanted a tough-as-nails female Warrior in my party, and surely would have conscripted her in the aftermath of the Landsmeet (as she stepped aside and lived).

Psh, racks are still overrated.

But you straight girls get... let's see... a guy with long hair, earrings, and a dress... an alcoholic midget... aaand probably a guy who takes his bow and hides behind you lest the scary monsters get him.

Lots of options...  Sword and board warriors have shield bash and shield pummel.  One of my favorites is on my two handed warrior, pommel strike, war cry (with maxed out champion so it knocks everyone down), then weapon sweep (and pommel strike is back or almost back).

In the OC, Shale is a tank, y'know.

Apparently we'll have to wait until the Next expansion for Oghren to be riding on the mabari with his saddle.
