Also, the whole battlemaster relationship with Grunt after all that "sup. do my mission. thx. now do me." nonsense with every other character was a nice touch.

Wrex is superior.
Make no mistake, I like Grunt but if given the choice between Wrex and Grunt in ME3 I'm picking Wrex, no question or second thought about it.
Screw that. I'd have both in the party at the same time. Be a ****ing wrecking crew.
If given the option then absolutely. They rest of the squad might as well make themselves comfortable back on the Normandy and enjoy watching me and my Krogan Kill Krew save the galaxy single handedly.

I AM KROGAN!
great line.
Grunt is cool. Wrex is cooler, but I suspect Grunt will be the krogan in ME3 (assuming he survived).
I love it too. It reminds me so much of, "THIS IS SPAAARTA!!!!!!"

Like others, I was very skeptical about Grunt when his character trailer was released.
Since then he's turned into one of my favorite characters. His childlike enthusiasm and the way he treats Shepard as a father figure is hilarious.
"Don't you get it? It's a Turian... and he's dead! Isn't that great?!"
Think about it.. most creatures when they are born imprint on the first creature they see, and who did Grunt see first?/ Sheapard. It makes sense that Grunt sees Shepard as a father figure and Shepard in bodies all that his little Krogan hearts desire. Shepard is just a Krogan in drag...

Can someone post a vid/audio link of this "last stand" dialogue of Grunt's, where he says the battle is "goddamn glorious"? I can't bear setting up anyone to die in any of my playthroughs, just not in my nature.
. . . except, he doesn't die.
Disloyal Grunt without a Claymore will hold the line all by himself.
This makes his dialogue there even more aewsome.

100% Truth.
Kelly even says so:
"Please be careful if you decide to, erm...'birth' him?"

At around 0:25- 0:26 seconds.
I love that krogan.

Also, half the FemShep/Garrus fans seem to have adopted Grunt as their son. While I don't do that FemShep/Garrus thing, I do agree they should share parenting rights. If only because a Turian foster father will mess Grunt up further into his adolescence. He'd kill Turians to rebel against his father. It would be glorious.

LOL, that video is awesome!
Grunt is awesome, Wrex is cool but he seems a bit old and tired to me.
