I like keeping things tidy rather than pinning things all over the place. I have the Games Explorer as a menu on the start menu. The original install put the DA:O icon in Games Explorer, but it no longer does anything after patch 1.01a. For now, I use the Start Menu icon, which still works, but I'd like to just stick with my Games Menu using the nice detailed DA:O info instead of just dropping a shortcut in there. It's such a minor thing.
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
So... does anyone here understand the Games Explorer XML stuff enough to help me fix the existing entry for DA:O to work after patch 1.01a? I'd rather not remove the entry and drop a shortcut into there since that doesn't have any of the info the official entry has.
(PC) Path 1.01a and cannot use the Games Explorer icon no more...

Try installing the latest Microsoft Visual Studio Redistributable.

I do know from reading a lot of these posts about the patch that is sometimes corrupts the path for an icon, and the configure utility has a repair tab that does fix most paths. hope this helps.
