I was the guy in the red shirt that chatted for most of it. David Sims was busy driving and fighting, making chatting trickier.
Well Ferret, you guys did a great job for a live stream. I can only imagine how nervous I'd have been in your shoes.
Yeah, imagine if David had died in front of all of us haha :-p Game over. Dev's suck lol.

Yeah, I cringed when Peon's Plight failed miserably.

Maybe they picked questions that they were allowed to answer. It would have been pretty bad if all of their answers were "That is classified information. Wait until release day to find out!"Dessalines wrote...
LOL, so they choose to answered the questions that could have been answered by looking at the web page. That's funny in a sad sort of way.

They said that Bodahn and Sandal were too comical, and they already had alot of comedy.
I'll miss Sandal. I was hoping to learn what happened to all of those dead Darkspawn during the finale...
Same here, I was hoping someone would ask and they'd answer. I really hope we get to find out sometime. There were many darkswpan, two of which were ogres. If that was Sandal's doing I think it's safe to say he's stronger than my PC. I asked him to come to the top of the tower to help fight the archdemon but obviously he only wanted to enchant things.
On topic - the live chat was cool. I'm excited about the game. I've officially decided that I want Anders.... in many ways. o.O Thanks for answering questions, I was relieved to hear that there would be a storage chest available in Awakening. It also makes me wonder if there will be a merchant like the one at soldier's peak who can sell things back with upgrade

Did you honestly expect any less? You've obviously never participated in any sort of "live chat" with celebrities or sports writers or w/e, because it's always that way. 9 million people in a chat room asking questions and a mod type person only posts the questions he/she wants answered by the person. And then depending on the subject matter, the questions are crap questions which everyone knows except that person asking it.

Also, I did not know that the Soldier's Peak merchant upgrades weapons. Time to go see what a Dragonwood Darkspawn Staff has for special effects...

When they did the one for ME2, it got pretty hairy for Christina Norman playing the Okeer level on a Vanguard. It's kind of fun watching them sweat a little.JKJEDIKNIGHT wrote...

I really like that they're doing these live demos. I don't have an opportunity to hit up any of the conventions, and I'd already pre-ordered both games when I watched the preview, so I suppose it's not really productive with regards to somebody like me, but they both got me really excited for the games' release. In particular with Awakening. Although I'd pre-ordered it, I've been kind of lukewarm up to this point, but I think it looked awesome tonight, and now really I'm hyped for it.

Yeah, it was pretty hilarious when Peon's Plight was resisted. That was the first time I've ever seen that. But that's live for you. If David had died, I would've cracked up. He would never have heard the end of that. It was his level we were playing after all.
haha would suck to die on your own level, yeah.

I'm not getting an invite... Would someone please ask them if they know whether or not the "Pearl of the Anointed" and "Bregan's Bow" promotional items be available in the United States?
I've been wondering if these two items - which I've read are currently available only to German gamers who have pre-ordered Dragon Age: Awakenings - will be given to those who have pre-ordered the expansion here in the United States.
Here is a link to the page where I read about these items:

Out of curiosity, what difficulty were you guys playing on?

I didn't think romances were in Awakening. Giggety!

It was really fun answering questions and showing off the game. Hope you guys liked it. To clarify one point, companion banter is definitely still in. The companion interaction spots are more a replacement for launching into full conversations in the middle of a level. Companions will still do this on occasion, but a lot of their color doesn't take away gameplay control. Myself, I happily hit the companion interaction spots any time I see them. I like learning more about my buds travelling with me.
Thank you to you and David for setting me straight on the companion banter. The way it was worded in the live demo got me extremely worried (y'all should be proud of that to be honest, if something about a computer game can invoke emotion of any sort in your players then you are doing something right [well.. unless the only emotion is rage
Looking forward to the expansion even with it containing some things I don't much like (well, mainly not containing some things - but I will get over that

And when Anders died, she was like "Damn he dies a lot!" and i said "Well Alistair died in my first playthrough a lot too. I guess it's about the points, you need to put them good.". She:"Well they are devs, they should know what they are doing right? XD". PEON'S PLIGHT! Opsss..
But i am soooo eager to play!!! I want to see the Arhitect....
