Thing is, that I've created two very different characters, which have (apart from game decisions), some roleplay details that has (and will) affect their decisions:

Kurt Shepard:

- Main morality: Paragon.
- Romance: Miranda Lawson (formerly Ashley Williams).
- Rachni saved? Yes.
- Wrex saved? Yes.
- Council saved? No.
- Team member killed in Virmire: Kaidan Alenko.
- Team member/s MIA in Collector's base: None. Crew saved.
- Team members not loyal to him: None.
- Have the Heretic geth been reprogrammed or destroyed? Reprogrammed.
- Has the Collector base been saved? No.

---Kurt Shepard is the epythome of Paragon, righteous soldier, equally loyal to all his crew and totally pro-all alien races. That made him destroy the Collector's base without hesitation. He's, however, deeply mistrustful/vengeaful with the ones who betrays him, and cut with Ashley because he felt that way. He found in Miranda the perfect woman (and gained his complete trust when she fired herself from TIM at the Collector's base).

Jon Shepard:

- Main morality: Renegade.
- Romance: Liara T'Soni (carried from ME1, kept loyal to her).
- Rachni saved? No.
- Wrex saved? No.
- Council saved? No.
- Team member killed in Virmire: Ashley Williams.
- Team member/s MIA in Collector's base: None. Crew saved.
- Team members not loyal to him: None.
- Have the Heretic geth been reprogrammed or destroyed? Destroyed.
- Has the Collector base been saved? Yes.

---Jon Shepard's main rule is that "If it's useful to kill your enemy, use it". He mainly distrusts aliens, completely hates krogan and he's totally pro-human, but over time he has developed a tight friendship with Garrus and Tali. He also sympathizes with quarian people, which kind of remembers him of his harsh life in the streets (he's Earthborn).

Neither of them are completely a saint or a devil. Kurt may be Paragon, but he still sacrifized the Council, and he didn't hesitated to cut ties with Ashley as soon as he felt betrayed by her. Besides, he has taken a great risk both reprogramming the geth and trusting Legion, and destroying the Collector's base.

Jon may also be a complete Renegade badass, but he shows total loyalty to Liara, despite the many chances he got to flirt with other Crew members. He also has strong friendship ties with Garrus and Tali, and he genuinely feels he had to save Collector's base because it's the only chance the entire galaxy has against the Reaper fleet. He also noticed the racism the Illusive man has against other species, and he'll have it in mind for ME3 (if it affects the people he cares about).

That offers me many interesting questions...will Kurt have bitten more than he can eat with the Reapers attacking and without Collector's tech to use against them? Will the rachni be the "muscle" and a real asset for this war, as he hopes? And will Jon's loyalty to Liara, Tali and Garrus conflict with the Illusive Man's plans?

And your chars? Do they have personality beyond the in-game decisions? Post yours!:wizard:

I posted a thread that's similar to this; Let's talk about your Shepard. You should post there. :D

There are tons of "Show your Shepard's" threads :P

This one is centered of how did you managed your char's roleplay (if you actually have roleplayed).

- Name: Chris Shepard
- Main morality: Paragon.
- Romance: Miranda Lawson (formerly Ashley Williams).
- Rachni saved? Yes.
- Wrex saved? Yes.
- Council saved? Yes.
No.

So basically the same as your first character, except I saved the Council. I really want to stay loyal to Ashley but I keep finding Miranda too hard to resist. My only hope on my current run is to tell Miranda that we can't be together... I might try it to see if Shepard picks that photo of Ashley back up.

I've already beaten the game twice with Miranda as my romance and once with Tali, I'd like to try and remain faithful. I want to hear what Ashley has to say when I "come back to her."

By the way, I import the same character every single time and I tend to make the same choices every time so every one of my characters is essentially the same. I beat Mass Effect with three different characters, but one of them (Soldier) only made it to level 51 and my Sentinel made a lot of wrong decisions. So I import my nearly perfect level 60 Vanguard over and over and over...

- Name: Viper Shepard
- History: Eartborn, Ruthless
- Main morality: Renegade.
- Romance: Thane Kryos (formerly Kaidan Alenko).
- Rachni saved? Yes.
- Wrex saved? Yes.
- Council saved? Yes.
- Team member killed in Virmire: Ashley Williams.
- Team member/s MIA in Collector's base: None. Crew saved.
- Team members not loyal to him: None.
- Have the Heretic geth been reprogrammed or destroyed? Destroyed
- Has the Collector base been saved? Yes.

Viper's main rule is this. "Do what ever it takes, but get the job done." She's not afraid to step on people's toes if necessary. But she's no monster, she'd also done some major paragon acts. Deep down, she's a good girl but at the same time, she is HELL itself. She can be a great friend or your worst nightmare. So which is the real Shepard? Both. She's beyond simply being and angel or demon. She's human... is her own person

She spared the base because she knows she'll need it but she has no plans to keep it in a long term goal. "Know your enemy." and the base is a grade A opportunity to learn about her foe in details. But once that is done, she'll get rid of all of it. She know the dangers of such power, like How Darth Revan never intended to keep the Star Forge in KotoR cause it would ultimatly destroy them all.

Although there is a bit of a friendship between her and the Illusive Man, she distrust his pro-human stance. Some of her friends are not human and she will do EVERYTHING to protect them all, even if she has to become Hell itself.

I only made one renegade for the sake of being renegade.

But my favorite character in ME1 and ME2 is a paragon who hates bureaucracy. He trusts and accepts aliens, does everything to keep his crew alive but isn't afraid to get the job done when dealing with thugs. If you "take them in" they will be in processing for months, then get a public defender to get the off anyway. Much better to "take care of it" right here and now if you know for a fact the criminal is guilty. There is no time to waste, his mission is the ultimate mission, if he needs to shoot someone in the knee to get him talking then so be it.

Name: Andrew Shepard
- History: Eartborn, Ruthless
- Main morality: Renegade.
- Romance: Tali (formerly Liara).
- Rachni saved? Yes.
- Wrex saved? Yes.
- Council saved? Yes(but regrets it).
- Team member killed in Virmire: Kaidan Alenko.
- Team member/s MIA in Collector's base: None. Crew saved.
- Team members not loyal to him: None.
- Have the Heretic geth been reprogrammed or destroyed? Destroyed
- Has the Collector base been saved? Yes.

He does what the law often fails to do; protect the innocent and punnish the wicked. He's a ruthless killer, a powerfull adept and won't think twice about killing those who wronged him. He's all about the progress of humanity, but sees the other races as equels. He saved the Council, but after meeting with them two years later, he wants to beat the crap out of them( the turian one's gonna get it the worst). He once respected Ashley, but now wants her to crawl in a ditch and die.
He had a relationship with Liara, but the two years changed her for the worst.(If there was a break up option, I would have used it.)

But he has his good side too. He will try to use diplomacy and non-leathal alternatives. He's very loyal to his friends, including Wrex(he's my buddy). And he loves Tali.

So the short story is this; He can either be your best buddy in the whole galaxy, or he'll knock your ass into orbit.

- Name: Mara Shepard
- History: Spacer, Sole Survivor
- Main morality: Paragon
- Romance: Thane Kryos (Formerly Kaiden Alenko)
- Rachni saved? Yes
- Wrex saved? Yes
- Council saved? Yes
- Team member killed in Virmire: Ashley Williams
- Team member/s MIA in Collector's base: None
- Team members not loyal to him/her: None
- Have the Heretic geth been reprogrammed or destroyed? Reprogrammed
- Has the Collector base been saved? No

Mara is as paragon as they come, fighting for the good of the galaxy and completely committed to the wellbeing of her team. She demands professionalism as well as honesty from both her team and superiors. Due to her experience on Akuze, Mara is extremely distrustful of Cerberus, her mistrust ended up being reinforced by the Illusive Man's various lapses in providing important intel. This lead her to deny Cerberus the Collectors and their technology as well as continued command over her and her crew.

- Name: Jessica Shepard
- History: Earthborn, Ruthless
- Main morality: Renegade
- Romance: Garrus Vakarian (No ME1 LI)
- Rachni saved? Yes
- Wrex saved? Yes
- Council saved? Yes
- Team member killed on Virmire: Kaiden Alenko
- Team member/s MIA in Collector's base: None
- Team members not loyal to him/her: None
- Have the Heretic geth been reprogrammed or destroyed? Destroyed
- Has the Collector base been saved? No

Jessica is a unique individual, deadly and aggressive yet still maintaining a great appreciation of the various cultures populating the galaxy. She despises xenophobia, having grown up around some of the worst humanity had to offer gave her a rather cynical view of her species. Her relative open-mindedness towards other species caused her to save both the Rachni and the Council despite her reservations about certain council members. Despite her apparent acts of great mercy she still maintains a strong "take no prisoners" style when dealing with those who oppose her, and often lets her actions speak for her. The Illusive Man's constant betrayals throughout her campaign against the Collectors caused her to turn the tables on him and destroy the Collector base to spite him and his terrorist agenda.
