I'd probably at least try playing it, though.

I always end up being the one having some weird stalker following me. Plus, immature twerps who annoy the crap out of anyone they come across. Then there's that super nerd who never sleeps 'cause he's Lv. 999 and robs you of all your health and items. No... please. NO, NO MMO.

i started this thread to see what peoples thoughts on an mmo for this game, mainly cos i'd like to eventually play a volus, on a mission to get volus government to become more stable, I'd be happt to see an ME single player that allows you to play other species than human, I personally don't like the Star Trek online, it looks clunky to me
STO was developed by Cryptic, nuff said.

You are not alone, I'm not a fan of MMO's too. I tried a couple and always lost interest.

However, personally, I wouldn't touch it, as MMO's are not my thing (never touched WoW either).
Now, if there was an ME tabletop RPG, I'd buy everything as it hit the shelves. I know you could probably adapt any current system out there into ME but I'd rather throw my money Bioware's way.

An MMO, if done right, could be very popular... people turned their noses at the Warcraft MMO idea before WoW came out and look what happened.
Complete dreck of a game was released that rose to popularity by perfecting the EQ model of addiction?

And for Scarhunters hope to play volus and change the volus goverment, name one MMO where player actions have any effect on the world? (Hint: There isn't one. And it's impossible to make one that has)
Better to hope a singleplayer game where you would play an open character. That would't be a Mass Effect game though, it would be a game that takes place in the Mass Effect universe.

I don't like MMOs - they're at their best as glorified chatrooms, as games they're rubbish.

Plus, where's that photo of the Turian Counselor saying "Ahh, 'This Thread' again"... Do we get like 4 Mass Effect MMO threads a day or what?
