Shep: "Erm, Miranda? How do you fill in these Cerberus requisition forms? Yeah... erm... yeah, I really do need a pole in my quarters... you know, for, erm... stuff."

Miranda: "why the hell do you need a pole Shepard. Are you implying domrthing?"

Shep: "No! It's for... erm... anti-Reaper... stuff. Mordin said it would improve structural integrity... yeah, that's it! And it'll do wonders for my quarter's feng-shui. And it, er... gives Urz something to chew on other than my boots... oh, forget it, I'll get one from the Omega Markets. Forget I asked."

So, if she is the ship's counselor, why doesn't she do any counciling? Unless counselors have taken to stripping for the patients... I mean, you wouldn't think so, but this isn't a field I keep up with and hey, you know, this is psychology. Whackiness abounds.

Kelly is a sweetheart. I liked her more than anybody else in the crew.

Kelly is like a mirror into your soul. Here is a cute, helpful, and supportive young woman. She does not burden you with her baggage. She is friendly, but will keep it professional if you ask her to. Yet some of you respond with hatred that she did nothing to earn. You choose to push away someone who supports you unconditionally rather than embrace her.

Hehe, I'm not really being that serious. Kelly is still the most awesome woman on the ship, though.

Would be nice if she did something useful like the yoeman on star trek did, i.e. fetch coffee.
Stupid VD riddled b!tch.

Ah to be young and idiotic again.....................
Most likely older than you.
she does have a job onboard, and NO it isn't sitting on yer face you noob!!!!!
Well if it isn't to bring me coffee what is it? Nothing that can't be done better without her. Not once did I say anything that had anything to do with sex.
does counselor Troy ring a bell?
Yup, sure does but she is a "councelor", Star Trek Next Generation does not have "Yoemen".  Star Trek did.
Jeez, for the eyes of Andraste!!! grow up people!!!!!!
Uhhh I simply suggested that she bring me coffee. Again Yoeman in Star Trek did, thought it was harmless enough.

My guess is that her counseling takes place behind the scenes. We don't see it because it's not very exciting. It's just like how we don't see Ken and Gabby working on the engine, or Garrus doing calibrations. It's just not necessary to watch.

She yells at me every time I walk past her. I get nagged enough in real life, I don't some digital woman doing it too.

I agree.

Kelly contracted scale itch from a varren, Mordin did a medical check of the whole crew; mentioned in one of his dialog options. Kelly is also to friendly with alien life, nice but dirty little girl.

No, she doesn't do any counseling because I AM doing all the counseling.  I'm the one always talking to people about their problems and life changing issues, then taking them all over the galaxy so they can deal with it. Kelly just stands there and pesters me. She also tells me Jack is violent. Thanks, darling.

Apparently so does the stripping cause until I saw the pics I didn't know that she did this. But I did hear she was responcable for the scale itch (scabes I reckon) from the different conversations on ship.

Do you think you can change a person's life with just a few minutes of conversation? For all we know, Kelly is probably the reason Jack hasn't killed half the crew.

Another theory is that Kelly is actually a spy for TIM. I can totally see it happening. Kelly torn between her loyalty to TIM and her love for Shepard.

Telling you that you have new mail now counts as yelling at you?

That dirty scale itch rumor needs to die. There is no evidence pointing to Kelly. I'm not saying Kelly never did it with a varren, but all we know is that somebody somewhere slept with a varren, and is either on the ship or slept with somebody who is on the ship. It could be Dr. Chakwas, for all we know.

If you truly are being nagged, it has more to do with your situation, than Kelly Chambers'.
And by that you deserve your nagging.
most annoying person on board is easily that 'incarnation of idiot' in the Armory!!!

Yeah that probably works.  Jack probably freaked out from Kelly hitting on her and trying to make her feel better that she decided act 'normal' in front of her and to not kill the crew to keep the freaky bisexual psychologist away.  Posted Image

Of course I did. They became loyal, didn't they? Glowing circle under their feet, new outfits, don't die in the final mission... yep.

C'mon, this is Mass Effect. We are in a 'word efficient' universe. Nobody is into long talks.

Yep.

SHUT UP, KELLY, I KNOW!

Keelah. Why can't she be useful and give Grunt a dance or something? I can check my own stupid email.

You can hardly blame people for thinking it's the promiscuous bisexual 'miss-drool-over-every-alien-crewmember-on-the-ship' fault. Doesn't care what gender you are. Doesn't care what species you are. Likes to strip. Yeah, who else is the one likely to get funky with a varren?

Why does everyone here thinks that a sexually transmitted disease means that someone has to have sex to contract it?

Any manner of transfer of bodily fluids would work, like having an open wound from fighting a varren and the animal's blood entering your body through it.

Look, if anyone's responsible for the scale itch thing, it's Joker. The guy clearly has some... perversions, to say the least. Wouldn't surprise me if inter-species erotica is one of them.

She has a degree in phycology... great... does that really help when examining other species though? Obviously different species have different behaviours, to examine them as humans is anthropomorphism.

I'd suspect psychology classes in the ME universe cover multiple species, not just humans.
