I love you David Gaider.
And rogues aren't bad. One of my favorite characters is a rogue. He uses two-handers even though there's no real talent build for them. He'll tear you up if you let him get anywhere near your backside.
Ah, hope his not gay.

Naw, my rogue married Anora after a long and fulfilling relationship with Morrigan. Though he made many an ass bleed along the way.

I only keep one warrior in my party, and for one reason only- to pull threat. The other three slots are either two mages and a rogue or two rogues and a mage. Any more than one warrior is a wasted opportunity to do a lot of hurt.

People who don't know how to build rogues think rogues suck. The rest of us know that a warrior is a slow, stupid meat shield who can wear pretty armor.

Hence why all my characters are warriors. (Except my two blood mages)
I suck at playing rogues, but I have only played one, so that's probably why.

I started out playing only warriors, but now I find playing a warrior tedious. The skills and specializations are boring and the attacks are so sloooow unless you have a mage running Haste. Plus, stats-wise it is proven that a dagger-dagger cunning rogue has the highest DPS, second is a dex-based rogue. Add in the rogue's special abilities, and why would anyone play a warrior? I want to open chests and disarm traps myself, in between dealing out indiscriminate death and stealthing in and out to scout a new area. Let an NPC take the boring job of tank.
There are threads in the Builds forum that are pages long describing how to build a rogue, but some keys are Paralysis runes (or spells) + Coup de Grace, Lethality, Combat Movement and Momentum. Put paralysis and hale runes on the offhand weapon and elementals (perhaps another paralysis rune for good measure) on the mainhand. Voila. A good rogue will be the most lethal melee fighter in your party and the one least in need of healing due to high dexterity and defensive bonuses. Obviously they also make good archers and have some built-in poison skill which gives them some limited AoE.

First of all, its ROGUE, not ROUGE. Unless you are complaining that your makeup is bad.
Rogues are extremely useful and easily the most fun class in the game to solo. If you are playing them like a warrior, you are doing it wrong.
- hell yeah
- hell yeah
- haven't tried to solo one (or anything), so I'll take your word.

Me myself love to play as the heroic knight in shining armor/paladin class... but the rogue class is simply awesome in this game...

DW warrior don't suffer any speed penalty even when wearing massive armor. I think DW warrior creams all over DW rogue in combat anyday.Addai67 wrote...

Yep, right till he gets stunned and sneak attacked to bits.

Rouges have the best special abilities. I loved using stealth to escape notice whenever I was in danger of dieing, and Dirty Fighting was my most invaluable friend in battles.

my rogue probably does more damage per sec than any other class ever will, and if you have a good tank in your party, the only attack your rogue need to worry about are AOE spells and and massive attacks. Rogue as a class, doesn't suck, your particular one might though.
It's a known fact that warriors contribute more to party's damage than any other class. I think the highest non solo stands at 60% of the parties damage.
Also Arrow of Slaying would one hit wonder most rogue builds anyway.
