We work in a high-stress environment.  Alcohol consumption can help reduce that stress, as well as allowing us to commune in a social context instead of simply on the battlefield.  Unless someone starts a fight.

Gentlemen, there's no need for violence.  There will be plenty of alcohol to go around.  Our mechanical friend was simply making an observation from his perspective.

No, they're probably more fun when they're drunk.  And thanks for helping Joker.  You're a great guy--well, most of the time.

Now where are Tali and Miranda and Jack?  And are we bringing Kelly?  Drinks for everybody!

Thank you, Shepard.  *looks around* I think that would depend on the location and size of the explosion.  Preferably something or someone who wouldn't be missed.
