Uck, as much as I <3 Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask was pretty sickeningly romantic. Looove Alistair for making cheesy romantic lines work on so many levels.

20 silver? I'd put 15 sovereigns on it and tell him to shop his heart out. Then while he's still holding his bags of merchandise we can go see his sister. "Well, we would have had 15 sovereigns to give you if Alistair hadn't spent it on griffon figurines..."

I also plan to get the tranquil proprietor to slip something from the exotic section into Alistair's bags without him noticing. It's the simple way of making sure my girl gets the gift she really wants, instead of some smushed, wilted piece of foliage.

Yes, that was hilarious--I couldn't resist that line either.  And I loved that the next option allowed me to follow up with "sentiment can be a powerful weapon".  One of the things I like about the Alistair romance is that even though he approaches you so nervously, you can be playful with him.

IIRC, the "So, does this mean we're married now?" gets one more point of approval than the straight up "romantic" response. My PC's pretty much joke through the whole thing and they end up with +7 or +8. Of course, I don't even care what the max is for the conversation, because being snarky is so much more fun than playing it straight.

Which is funny, because what Morrigan says about Grey Wardens and their "legendary stamina" makes me think she shouldn't be so quick to dismiss Zevran's "advances".

I would assume they are true about everyone but Alistair. That seems to be the way these things go.
