Tonight at work I was listening to my iPod and I kept picturing certain squadmates and characters from Mass Effect that went along with that song so I decided "Hey why not post it and see if anyone else was as bored as me" here's some of mine.

AHAHAHAHA! That's friggin hilarious... Afro Man? Seriously? I mean, it's on my player too but that's not how I pictured jacob... actually to me 'Cult of personality' by Living Colour works... so Does anything by Sevendust.

Zaeed has to be 'Dirty Deeds Done Dirty Cheap' by AC/DC
Legion- Could be 'crush 'em' by Megadeth but 'Mr. Roboto' by Styx seems to work as well.
Samara- "fat bottomed girls' By Queen. Morinth- "Maneater or Don't trust a Ho"
Tali- "I need you tonight" By INXS works... Strangely, so does "Return to Innocence" and even "Sandstorm".
Mordin- "She blinded me with science" oddly works... so does "Comfortably Numb"
Garrus- "Somebody's watching me" Or "Eye in the Sky" or even "Dogs of War" and also "Warpigs"
Miranda- Pretty much anything by Lords of Acid. Don't ask. "Closer"  by NIN works for all LI Actually.
Grunt- "The Bleeding" By Five Finger Death Punch "In the End" Linkin Park and oddly enough "Bird is the word" by the Trashmen... why? Because grunt would have loved to be in Apolcalypse now or full Metal Jacket, 'not leading the women and children so much', and that's one of the iconic 60's songs always played in vietnam flicks.
Thane- "Here without you" By 3 Doors down.  "Screaming for Vengeance" Judas Priest.
Jack- "Crazy ****" by Buckcherry. Also, "I Get off" by Halestorm and most anything by L7.

Bonus picks-

Joker- "Damn it feels good to be a gangsta" because we all know skinny white guys totally sing this to themselves when they think nobody's watching.
EDI- "The Imperial March" From Empire Strikes Back ST. You know she does it.
Chakwas- "Dr. Feelgood"... "Doctor Doctor"
the Engineers- "Hate everything about you"  "Tainted Love" "I want you to want me"
Aria T'Loak- "(can't you) Trip like I do?" Filter and the Chemical Method
Wrex-... Wrex likely listens to Hayseed Dixie or classical or something way off the wall... or just has the guy from '300' on constant repeat screaming (edited for him of course) I AM KROGAN! Edit: Also, Dragonforce. Any of it.
Kelly- "The Kids Aren't all right" By the offspring or "Show me your ****" by Lords of Acid... or "pour some sugar on me" because all strippers are required by law to know how to dance to this song.
Ashley- "Take on me" by A-Ha, or "I'll stop the world and melt with you"... she just gives off that 80's vibe. I could see her listening to cadence on tape or Taps as performed by the USMC bugler or the Naval band *salutes*.
Kaidan- is dead in all my playthrus, so at best he'd get 'Welcome to my nightmare' or 'zombie' or even 'thriller'.
Turian Councilor- Aside from being an air quoting douche, he jams "Safety Dance" when he thinks nobody's watching. We all know he does it. He even pays a volus to be the midget from the video and dance around with him.
Anderson- "Fell on Black Days" by soundgarden and some way old school "Brick House" because he could pull it off with that voice during Presidium Karaoke night. Also, Ministry.
Udina- "If I only had a brain" by Mc 900 ft. Jesus. Seriously. I know it sucks too, but so does Udina.
Liara- "Don't Look back in anger" "Somebody's watching me" "unsung" and "you're my obsession"

Many more fit, but those were on my player during my most recent playthru and fit the characters during different missions.

LOL thanks... just try telling that to my gf, she hates when I plug the MP3 player into the car cause it's got like 4k songs on it from all different genres and periods of history, to include movie and video game soundtracks... drives her nuts but I need that diversity in my music... *sigh* 

I also like the poster who had Depeche Mode and Uematsu and Daft Punk. Great minds think alike and I could totally see those songs working for the characters you have listed.
