Hi just a quick question regarding which part of the ost i can find the "biotic barrier music", the one that plays when you're on the last mission inside the biotic bubble.

www.youtube.com/watch

If no one knows it'd be great if someone could say record of the music loop playing and upload it youtube

I posted a thread on here about it a week or so ago, no one had found anything. Its such a shame as the song sounds really good :(

Yeah, listening to it I noticed that its essentially 2 different tracks based on the same melody, one for combat the other for calm moments between fights so if the actual track was somewhere in the game folder it would be 2 different files or more, it also seems to incorporate small thematic nuances from the other character themes, I can definitely hear xylophone-esque sounds similar to Samara's theme in there.

Anywho if someone infinitely more tech savvy than me can somehow find this track somewhere in the game files and send them to me I'd be grateful for it.

Nope sorry, thanks for trying though, I've gone through every single track on the OST, it's not in there.
So just like the Darkstar lounge theme and the Ilium bar theme, it' s been ommited from the official OST, but it's somewhere in the game files though thats for sure.

Thanks bud.

Remember, the fate of humanity lies IN YOUR DECISIONS, well maybe not so but thats what TIM would say in dire circumstances such as this one.

I could have sworn that there was a more aggressive version of Suicide Mission. The one that Johannes linked to is still bad ****ing ass, but I like the one that is used in the screen before you get to the main menu.

Ah that one is just a shortened version of the overall suicide theme, more appropriate for a menu theme than the full blown version since it lacks the ending part of the song.

Damnit all to hell. Should have had more of a use for the more agressive version than just the opening screen. That comes off as a **** you in the long run when you consider that it fits in much better with some of the fights in the final mission.

I was disappointed Biotic Field and Hold the Line were excluded from the OST as both are great tracks.

Hold the Line

Biotic Field

Hold the Line kind of sounds like a mix of Legion's theme and Suicide Mission but faster and more upbeat.

OMG FREE E-HUGS TO YOU ALL, seriously though I hate having an incomplete OST folder, why do they do this? Only giving 20 odd tracks out of 60 or so and calling that a "complete soundtrack"?

It's this one:

  (pre-Fight)
and this
(Fight)

Just loaded the mission up and compared.

Awesome tracks.

Edit:  Saw that these links were provided above.  Oh well.

Yea I was disappointed those tracks weren't on the OST, so I used Gibbed's Audio Extractor to find em extract em and listen to them that way. Although they're seperated sorta, tension labels usually mean the out of combat tune, and there are usually 2 different combat tracks, so they won't mesh as well as the ones in the youtube links.

www.masseffectsaves.com/mods.php If you got the pc version of course, you can also listen to the voice over dialogues ;p

Save editor is only for messing with saves, the music one is below it.  It's pretty straightforward, just have to make 1 or 2 folders to keep it organized.  Just start the app, for music just click the music button once, it'll auto select everything.  Click start and it'll ask where you want them extracted to.

Personally I made a ME2 Music folder on my desktop, put the app files in it, ran it from there...created a music folder and VO folder inside as well.  I suggest doing one first then the other for organization.
