 I pre-ordered the collectors edition of Mass Effect 2 and the Collector armor code is faulty. Anyone know how I can get another one?

Theres a problem with the email... it doesn't have Mass Effect 2.

If you select Mass Effect, it opens a new drop down box for selecting Mass Effect 2. Try the online chat option for instant results.

Hmm, seems they may have removed the link to it. Try in the morning during normal business hours, though when I used it last week it was up 24/7.

Choose Microsoft Xbox 360- Mass Effect- Mass Effect 2- Game Information- Promotions/Special Offers. The live chat option will pop up.

You can try again. Some Customer Service Reps aren't worth their weight in sand. If you tell them your code is invalid and you can provide them with it, there shouldn't be an issue. Of course be kind and courteous, express your enjoyment with the product but the displeasure of not being able to use what you have paid for.



(This is assuming that you genuinely own the Collectors Edition.)

Thats the thing... I threw out the old code because it didn't work (I got pissed so I garbaged it) and I do own Mass Effect 2 CE!

I am pissed because every time I get a new game at least 1 of the codes don't work so give me some slack before assuming!

See, now you are in conundrum. You can be honest and say you threw it out and have them assume you are lying, or actually lie saying it did not have a code or that code was a Cerberus Network code which some actually were and vice versa. It all depends on the CS Rep.

(My particular CE had 2 Cerberus Network cards and no Armor/Weapon card....)


And in no way am I endorsing lying.

Go to your local gamestore and ask for a spare pre-order code, my local gamestation had a plethora of them leftover - for free

Finally, it's just a piece of armor and a gun. It's not anything important.
