I'm running on an up to date Vista x64 install. My mouse is a razer deathadder if that helps. Tried various suggestions like press cntrl with mouse buttons and scroll wheel button but no liuck. Weird thing is, if I load up the demo areas that came with toolset I can navigate them, but nothing when working with a level.
Also the level and area editors seem way too dark, hard to see anything. Is there some lighting option I need to switch on? And the other problem is textures, only seem to have 4 terrain textures to work with?
I've looked on the wiki etc but just can't find any solutions to these issues.

Go into Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Mouse and change the action for Wheel Click to "Middle Click" instead of "Flip (Default)" and you can hold down the middle mouse button (with and without alt) to move the camera.

Speaking of the Level Editor...how does one open it w/o creating a new level. I've created a few levels, saved, exported, even tested in-game. However, I cannot seem to figure out where to view those levels in the palette to reopen and edit.
pick "open file" then select the *.lvl file you saved last time. and you are good to go.

I had the camera movement problem as well... You probably have Microsoft's Intellipoint software installed. By default, it intercepts mouse-wheel clicks and uses them to flip between tasks.
Go into Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Mouse and change the action for Wheel Click to "Middle Click" instead of "Flip (Default)" and you can hold down the middle mouse button (with and without alt) to move the camera.
I was wondering why one of my dekstop PC's was having a mouse-related issue, while the other was fine.
Thanks for helping to clear that up.

Anyone know the default folder that the toolset creates these in? I saved one and now I cant find it.

Mine are saved in > My Documents
You can also try.
\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Toolset\\LvlWorkspace

Same business with Logitech hardware and their 'SetPoint' panel. Open up the panel, and select the 'Middle Button'. Under 'Select Task', scroll down and choose 'Middle Button'.
