hi, i started playing ME2 as soon as it came out an i installed the addons the crash site, Zaeed and Cerberus Assault gear was all working good. then i have had a break from it for about 2 week now i cant play the game at all... its saying i have to connect with my account??? i thought i was already doing so any help would be great

Have you tried disabling the two online options under EXTRAS > OPTIONS > ONLINE? If it doesn't help, what is the exact word-by-word message?
