 Shepard's time as mordin allowed his biotics to increase with his knowledge.  Shepard's history of meditation intrigues the Justicar, so they have a session.  Shepard enters the asari's mind through his biotic eye, floods the asari equivalent of seratonin, and forces all the receptors to bind at once.  During their peak the justicar extracts his genetic material, and they land on a sirta foundation grade space pillow.
