After he said "Don't let the enemy ships inside the arms!" was he aboard the ship that Sovereign just smashed through and obliterated? If so, I suppose he's dead and will never learn to properly appreciate humanity.

It looked that way that the Turian Cruiser that was smashed aside was the one with Pallin when I was just replaying the end of ME1 last night.

I don't think the turian you're talking about was Pallin.

The Turians of the same colony clan have the same face markings. So it was just one of his tribe so to say.

However it does appear he MIGHT have been a casualty of the battle on the citadel ... Chelleck is in charge by the time ME2 begins so draw your own conclusions

During battle of the Citadel, when the wards start closing and Sovereign starts to go in, there is one text line Executor: "Citadel is closing, they are sealing the station" or something like that, not sure if it Executor Pallin and if he is in that ship that gets crushed.

It COULD be Pallin, I suppose... Although like most humans, I tend to have trouble distinguishing between different Turians. :P

That said, that particular line only says "Executor". Executor could just refer to a certain rank in Turian society, like Matriarch or Admiral. It's not conclusive proof that it was Pallin who died on that cruiser, but it is a compelling argument.

I prefer to think Palin retired after the Geth attack saying, and I quote, "I'm getting too old for this ****."
