First I'd like to apologize for posting this is the ME1 forum and not the ME2, for some reason I don't have permission to post in the ME2 spoilers section.
Back on topic...I recieved a message from the salarian in ME1 that asked me to scan the keepers. He gave me some extremely interesting information possibly hinting to events in ME3. He said that the keepers (like the citadel) were not made by the protheans, but a much older race. We now believe this race to be the reapers. However, the most interesting information he gave was that the keepers were programed to respond to a signal every 50.000 years. He mentioned the first time they recieved the signal was around the time of the destruction of the protheans. And now, the time has come again 50,000 years after the genocide of the protheans. Not suprising, but what is suprising is that the keepers may be the front line soldiers for the reapers, and they might start by manipulating the citidel's systems in a way to kill everyone (including the council) inside the citidel. This would be a horrifying first blow in the war against the reapers.

I appreciate it.
-If a mod could move it to the ME2 forums, I'd be grateful. However, as is it does not pose too big of a threat into the ME2 storyline, hopefully it wont be a problem. And the plot also originated in ME1.
