Coalesced.ini Editing and DLC Weapons

 Is there any way to edit the DLC weapons (Incisor sniper rifle and Collector assault rifle) the way one can edit the Coalesced.ini file?  I tried editing the BIOWeapon.ini in each directory, and it caused an error to appear saying the DLC couldn't be authorized.

The only editing I do is to turn on infinite ammo.  I *hate* scrounging for ammo, since it directly contradicts everything written about weaponry in ME1.

Can not edit the DLC weapons because every time you load them up they  check the file online to make sure it is vaild the only way to get the DLC weapons to take no ammo is by editing this.

[SFXGame.SFXWeapon]
Damage=(X=3.7,Y=3.7)
DamageAI=1.0f
DamageHench=1.0f
RateOfFire=(X=850,Y=850)
RateOfFireAI=1.0f
MagSize=(X=34,Y=34)
AmmoPerShot=1 < change this to 0

Drat... wouldn't that make it so that no ammo is ever used, and thus I never eject a clip?



I'm not sure I want to do that. The flow of combat seems based around these thermal clips. I don't want an unfair advantage, only to have the same advantage as NPCs (who never ever scrounge for new clips).

It's not in the Coalesced, it's in its own ini file in the DLC_Cer_Arc folder

You can edit the DLC weapons/Henchmen. I gave Zaeed heavy weapons....he uses every now and then and also gave the Arc Projector unlimited ammo.
You have to use a pirate program to authorize the dlc after you make the changes.
Even Legions anti material sniper rifle is unlimited. Not to mention the Hammerhead jump jets and thrusters last longer.

Hammerhead ini

Program files - Mass Effect 2 - Biogame - DLC

Arc Projector is DLC_Cer_Arc
Zaeed is DLC_Hen_Vt
and the hammerhead is DLC_UNC_Hammer

Look for either the Biogame or Bioweapon ini files in the folders
