Personally, I love some of mine even thought I doubt anyone else would. Others look good in the creation stage, but I pick them apart once I start playing.masseffectfan00 wrote...
I spend hours trying to make the perfect Shepard and they look decent until they're in the game. They look very different from the face creation page. So anyone here made good looking Shepards? I know there's a site for this but just curious if anyone here had any success.
Just keep looking at other peoples, and ask for the face codes if you like any. Otherwise it's just a case of trial and error, and sitting through that nice, lengthy, unskippable intro scene over and over. And over.

Wouldn't make sense to have one in ME3 either, how many times can someone have their face reconstructed.

Then again, that's probably because I modelled him after myself. *sigh*

If you spend enough time with the creator, you can make some very attractive characters. If that's what you're looking for, anyway. I credit my hours playing Sims 2 to my ability to create in any game virtually any face I want, regardless of the creator's limitations. I've found the right pair of eyes make all the difference, same with the mouth. You can get some pretty spot-on replicas with that thing if you try.

I usually go with default. I'm a default kind of guy, see. I mean, I'm playing *the* default Shepard, even though that was completely unintentional.
My first playthrough of ME1 I made a custom one, and he actually turned out very good, aside from looking about a decade too old.

It does not help that the finished product looks different then how you see it in the character creation screen.
I'm satisfied with my shotgun toting, vanguard charging, grandpa Shep.
get off his lawn or he'll MAKE you get off.

At least he hasn't had a baseball bat taken to his face. By the way, you are aware that once you create a character in ME2 they automatically start out with scars right? They can disappear as you go along.

Your Shepard looks like a bulemic. So freakin' skinny.Costin_Razvan wrote...
I made my Shepard to look sorta like a soldier, aka not a charm boy the default Shepard is, but a though bastard who's face shows he has been through some though fighting. ( In my Shepard's case Torfan )
Hehe.. I was gonna say "Holocaust Survivor" but I wasn't sure how that'd be taken.
Hm. I said it anyway, didn't I? Oho, touche.

This is true. The DA:O creator can make some really angelic looking girls.Pocketgb wrote...
For every good male Shepard I've seen, I've seen about one million good looking Dragon Age men. Face creation for ME dudes is a mess.
