hi i would like to know if any one can help me with my problem
i used the console command to get some extra cash but i wasnt familiar with cash system yet, so i just put 10 zeros or something, but instead of it giving me money i am now stuck at minus x bronze coins, it changes every time i pick up money but doesnt go to positive number.
cheers for any help

I figured out a fix for it.. when typing in the cheat for money.. you put in a number larger then the game is set to handle.. so it just glitches out and goes negative.. when putting in the cheat runscript zz_money put in a negative number for the amount of money until your money fixes.. ie. runscript zz_money -200000000
it might take awhile to find the right number but it will work
best of luck

Ha ha! That will teach you to cheat - takes all the fun out of it if you ask me.

I got this bug without cheating, during a quest I was given a prompt to give 50 silver to an NPC, I gave it to her then realized I was short. After wards I notices my money said I had -3 bronze. Several quests and hard battles later I realized even when I sold something I was not getting the money back and now I think I have to find an old save from about 3 hours ago. So Im_a_chicken can kindly cluck himself.

Money is stored as an unsigned int32 in the savegame, so either the game uses a smaller type to store that, or it is completely unrelated, or you are cheating and lying. No way you got 400 000+ sovereigns legitimately.

Umm, with an unsigned int32, we're not talking 400,000+ but rather over 4,294,967,295. But yeah, you're right: either ONEHUNGRYWATER here hit an up-till-now-unheard of bug (or even a hardware error of some kind), is full of solid waste excretions, or a cheat. Actually, if the answer is "a cheat", then "a liar" comes along for the ride, what with the claims of not being a cheater.
