I've recently found an issue that is becoming increasingly aggrivating. Once recruiting Thane Krios, the loading screen back to the Normandy goes for a bit, and then my 360 all of a sudden says that Mass Effect 2 Disc 2 is "unreadable." This will happen every time I arrive at that same point.

I checked the disc, and it's very clean--only minor scratches from operation, and my 360 is standing vertically. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First try to clear hard drive cache. The position of your 360 shouldn't matter but try laying it flat horizontal & see if it works. If game is installed to hard drive delete it & try to run game off disc or if game is not installed to hard drive try to install it & see if the install completes. Those tricks got me past a few disc unreadable errors already.

Your disc drive is very possibly on the way out, if it gets worse and worse then thats a definite.



Install the game to your HD instead of running from the disc = no read problems ever/faster loading/smoother cutscenes - its a no brainer

installing to the HD only works if he has a 60 gig or higher xbox it takes up more then 13 gig on the harddrive if i remember right and on a 20 gig you only got somthing like 12 gig free.

Only need to install one disc at a time, im still using a 20gig and their is plenty of space ( i also have about 5 gig of arcade games installed )



Playing a game like this from the drive is pretty silly, the disc gets grinded to hell at parts
