How is Conrad Verner remotely relevant to the main story?
He's not, but that's not the point. He's there to add depth, to add life, just as the romances are.

Sapient beings apparently like to have sex. Get a bunch of them together and it's going to happen. Just before Ilos is as good a place as any, what with the building tensions and all. It won't make Saren spontaneously combust, but it helps define the characters and makes for a better story.ShepardWrex wrote...
