Solid business practices to me.

I don't think you understand the relationship a publisher has with a developer.

Then you have less reason to be posting on this thread than I do.

Now see, that's the first thing you've said that I agree with.

I think you and I are done here, since we'll never convince each other that we're right.

You know, I wonder if, maybe, MAYBE, ShepWrex might be wrong about most everything he's said?

I don't know, it might have something to do with the other five or six people arguing with me. Nah. He has to be right. I'm an idiot. Duh.

(takes a bite of popcorn and waits for ShepardWrex to take his bait)

Or it might have something to do with the last hundred pages talking about how much of a disappointment ME2 was.

Or does it strike a chord with some people when I voice my opinion on how much of a disappointment ME1 is as well?

EA apologists, the lot of you.

So, you don't really have a problem with BW doing romances (as they have always done them even prior to the EA thing), but you have a problem with them tossing in more for ME2 (ME1 had three, ME2 had six) at the expense of other areas of the game, correct?

ME1 had more sex. There's no controversy with ME2.

Tell me how having sex before reaching Ilos is remotely relevant to the main story.

Or you can tell me how unimportant the main story was to you in the first place.

Now we're all EA apologists. TO THE SCAFFOLDS!

Wow, ShepWrex. Wow. For one thing, I'm confused by your response. What does it have to do with my bait? For another, you took the bait.

On that tangent, I could ask this.
How is Conrad Verner remotely relevant to the main story?

He's not, but that's not the point.  He's there to add depth, to add life, just as the romances are.

Sapient beings apparently like to have sex. Get a bunch of them together and it's going to happen. Just before Ilos is as good a place as any, what with the building tensions and all. It won't make Saren spontaneously combust, but it helps define the characters and makes for a better story.
