Just started playing ME2, and I have just hired Saren and attempting to hire Mordin Solus. Should I recruit all my team before I attempt side missions?  Or can I bang out a couple side missions while assembling my team without any change to the main story line. I am a FPS player at heart and just started to play RPG's, hope this questions isnt to freaking stupid LOL.

Erm, I take it you mean Garrus not Saren.

Anyway to answer your questions, you can do the side missions if you want, it won't affect the storyline too much until later on.

Man, I wish I could recruit Saren... He sure showed Nihlus how fast he can move on his own.

yes garrus, thanks for the help. I will play ME1 first then. I had it before but was hard to get into. Guess this i why I havent played many RPG's..
