i suppose i should mention that there is only one class and one background. i'm more or less done with altering the character generation process in this regard to fit situation. both rogue and warrior talents will be available to this character. no mage option and human will be the only playable race. also the main character is male. it reduces the alternatives for the player but for this first mod i'd like to focus on the story of one person and try to make that as good as possible. the player will be able to choose behaviours of the character but the behaviours will be within parameters that are set by his previous experiences.

I don't think the combat pause removal is a good idea, everyone knows that there will allways be disturbance in RL that distract you. and require a pause so you can deal with them and return. if you only have one character pause will not help you that much.
