so how many fans of ME2 would be willing to pay for DLC armor with a removable helmet or ( helmetless)? Nothing too extreme but lets say about $5 - $10 a set
would you be willing to pay for helmetless armor?

5-10 Dollars for an armor with a removable helmet? No thanks i'll just drink and make out with it on.
I'm sure future armors will have removable helmets. Bioware should have caught on after the Cerberus Assault Armor's release.

On its own I don't think I would but if it was part of a content pack (a few extra armor pieces) I'd drop some money down.

No, that would be a waste of money.

This is a much better idea.WelshKris wrote...

I would rather have useful parts than armor that just sits there doing nothing.

There will be mods that do it someday.
If the devs don't do it, you can bet the fans will.

Yes, provided it was a toggle that would apply to any and all armors, both existing and future. Really, Bioware should have done it from the start.

I'm sure it's just a variable thing.Zaxares wrote...

Each different map type (low atmosphere or acceptable) atmosphere probably has a variable signalling which kind of zone it is.
Likewise, combat zones and non-combat-zones might have a similar variable.
I'm sure there's some kind of variable involved in conversations also.
I'd like a mod that lets you wear a helmet, but only when you're in a combat area outside of conversation \\o/

Why would I pay for armor that doesn't protect the most important part of my character's body? What's next, Combat Swim Trunks DLC? Inane...

I'm just looking for an alternative. I'm willing to pay a little to get it fixed. BW stance seems to be that it isn't broken. I'm just gageing what the temp is for DLC armor w/out a helmet or a toggle. I'm willing to pay a little.

if you are asking "Are you willing to pay for new armor that does not force a helmet?" The answer is yes.
if you are asking "Are you willing to pay for a patch that makes current armor that forces a helmet be able to toggle the helmet off?" My answer is No.

Nope.
I prefer the helmet look, anyway.

Wait, some of you are actually willing to PAY for a patch to remove the helmets from the armor?
Seriously?
This is basically giving Bioware the wrong ideas. In future DlCs or in ME3, you will have to pay for a new game, pay to use your skill points, pay to access a part of the citadel or pay to access unlock parts of the normady, all of which are features that should have been available in the first place.
Let's not be this idiotic shall we? They gave us free content that are useless, don't pay for a free content to make the free content more applicable in the game.

I would pay if it were part of a much larger DLC with a lot more content than just that. I've done an insanity run without helmets, it's not like I need the stats, and I prefer the N7 over the other armors so that's also not a problem.

For new armor piece sets, sure. That is it would work with the N7 component system, and it'd be a set of themed helmet, gauntlets, plastron, etc. I'd drop two or three bucks for those. Better still if they eventually did discounted bundle deals with more than one set.

I would pay for armor pieces not armor sets. That's what should have been done in the first place. Instead of making all those 1 part armor sets why not make them all into parts. That way nobody complains about helmets and we get more armor.

I wanta helmet that'll never come off...ever. Even when you're on board the Normandy it'll stay on. Even when you transfer your character.

When do you make out with your armor on?
Also, no. The only time I drank was with Dr. Chakwas on the ship anyway
