The Prothan visions played a major role in the first game, and I thought yeah could have gone in a lot of interesting directions with it. So they should bring them back in the third game. Shepard could have to gain clues that lead him to some super weapon.

Yeah, it's a fairly major plot reveal in the game. Gets no-sold a tad by Shep though.

I say yes. Bring them back but don't give them an important part in the game. Maybe they should be Shepard's nightmares. The Protheans should still be mentioned in the game, after all Shepard has the Cipher, he went to Ilos and Feros two Prothean worlds with who knows what kinds of secrets. I'd like to return to Ilos either as DLC or in ME3. They should give us the chance to fix Vigil too.

Yeah, they are cool until you play through the game again and you see these weird planets and things and some weird dog/varren mouth for 2 minutes.

To be honest, I'd rather have flashbacks to breathing 6 times and waking in a cold sweat.
I got really bored with the beacons.

Now you are just asking for too much.

It was a little stupid, imo. I compared it to the vision in ME1 and it was just a Collector's upper body plastered on top of the original vision. I understand that it's most likely due to the fact that they didn't really know how the Collectors where going to end up looking like, but it still felt like a 10 minute Photoshop job. The original vision had more human looking creatures with tenticals for fingers, and they were not insect-like.FoxGhost wrote...

EDIT: Yes, I understand they were modified genetically, but they wouldn't look like Collectors while getting destroyed/enslaved by the Reapers. That wouldn't have happened for some time afterwards.

well yeah so did I, because it was just the same vision over and over. If they do put visions in ME3 the visions need to be different each time, like Shepards getting parts of a message that he/she needs to put together.Keltoris wrote...
