I'm in favor of it. Is that general enough?

On the whole I liked it almost as much as the first game. A stronger, subtler, and longer final mission would have been appreciated. Everything with the Ilos Trench Run, Vigil, and the Citadel in the first game = pretty hard to top.

I still go by my theory that ME1 is the "Paragon" game (blue theme, Citadel space, working with the Alliance); ME2 is the "Renegade" game (orange Renegade theme, Terminus Systems, working with Cerberus) and the theme of ME3 will be based on your decisions in the first two games.

Hmm... It's practically instakill against most enemies (with the appropriate ammo), except for the tougher ones.

Maybe you meant overpowered?

Organic enemies didn't use immunity every 5 seconds, much improved.

EDIT: I also never got stun locked to death by biotics who were using immunity.

Everything with the Ilos Trench Run, Vigil, and the Citadel in the first game = pretty hard to top.

The fights at the Citadel were neat, but Ilos was just a bore. It was much easier and quicker to drive through the enemies. It really seemed like they wanted to extend the length of the final mission there.

Mass Effect 2 should have given you Samara and Thane immediately and used those 2 extra recruitment missions for the galactic core/Collector Homeworld. The ending would have been much more satisfying.
