I do have the game installed, but both the patch and the toolset error when trying to open, stating that they cannot find an install of the game on my machine.  

Any suggestions?

Nobody else has this problem? I find that hard to believe, but google is returning nothing when I search for the error.

So yet another development: I went to try to uninstall, thinking that a reinstall would solve the issue, but I can't even uninstall the game, because it says it can't find it installed on my pc.
