Yes I know its not a word!
Who here has the in-game experience of getting stuck on walls and dead bodies too often? It may be because I my game doesn't play smoothly, but nonetheless, stucking is not an option!

They should make it so that we slide off of angular walls and the such and that we walk OVER dead bodies instead of getting stuck on them...Stucking is extremely annoying when played on a computer with a video card that doesn't cost nearly $300! (possible hyperbole intended)

However, I would like to know if you had the experience of getting stuck too often and see if it is just me and my lame video card....

I have never experienced any "stucking" and I have finished the game 11 times.

Since dead bodies have no substance and you can run right through them, I think the blame lies with your card or your own perceptions.

really? there must be something wrong with my game since I was apparently in a running animation and going nowhere on top of a dead body. Dead bodies have no substance...must be because of the lag and bad video card that created dead bodies with substance.

I think you're right that it's a video problem. Have you updated your drivers recently? You might want to try that.

Sometimes I'll walk into my party members if they're in my way but that's the most trouble I've had.

Never been stuck the way you're describing.

It depends on the corpse, I think. Ogres and certain skeletons take longer to "decompose" than other creatures. It's probably my less than stellar pc, but it does happen if I start to run over a corpse too quickly. If it's in a doorway, just give the game a little longer to render it properly dead.

No, it does happen on certain enemies. Like a dragon will stay for a second before decomposing. I haven't had a problem to the degree that you have, but on some of the larger enemies they will block you but it's less than a second and barely worth complaining about.

Hrm ...I just walk through ogres and dragons, I have never had to wait for them to decompose. Odd.

Wait, you paid $300 for that video card? And it still "lags"? How long ago was it you bought that card, 1993?

I've had the exact same problem and I don't believe its a video problem. I have a decent (not top of the line but still better than most) graphics card and it still happens. Doesn't happen very often, however, so I assume its just a minor glitch or bug.

I get this all the time in Bioware games. The character controls are not the smoothest although it might ultimately come down to the strength of your videocard as to how often it happens. Often if I so much as brush the side of a corner or object, I have to back up and re-angle myself to get past, like... feels like driving a tank sometimes. Happened all the time in Kotor too. The OP is not insane.

Or maybe you're both insane, outlaworacle. I don't know what you're talking about.

Well it is a generally accepted theory that if it didn't happen to AlanC9, it can't have happened to anyone.
