Here are two of my cats, Artemis and Apollo. They were taken in as babies, brother and sister from the same litter, born out in the street. Sadly, Apollo disappeared last year, no clue what happened. Me, husband and his sister miss him greatly.

I have another kitty, a lovely siamese mix that was found on the hillside, I shall have to get a picture of her to post.

Lol you named your cats after Greek Gods.

That's because they are gods. Or, at least they think so.:wizard:

I actually managed to take cute pictures of my doggy boys for once.

Image IPB

That's my dog, Orion. He's an australian shepherd, and about..  9-10 years old.

Image IPB

And that is our puppy, Sirius. Who is about 7 or 8 months old. He's also an aussie. And yes, his eyes are different colors. One of them is a brown/green hazel, and the other is a light blue with some brown/green around the upper edge of it.

And here is my neurotic little Siamese mix, Missy. (I didn't name her). Impossible to keep infront of a camera lense without the promise of pate.

And Artemis and Apollo look like they mean business.

Goregous. Raising sisters is fun. The older they get, the more like two old maids they tend to become.

I love odd-eyed dogs. Mutts make the most beautiful and interesting pets Especially the spotted ones!

They're actually not mutts. Both of them are pure bred australian shepherds. Merle colored aussies are naturally spotted. Sirius is a red merle. Orion is a tricolor. Aussies come in three main color variations. Grey merles, red/liver merles, and tricolors.(Occasionally you'll find ones that are only two colors too.)

Here are my puppies.  Clover is on the right and Zoey is on the left.  We got Clover as a rescue when she was a puppy and we rescued Zoey off the streets couple of months after we got Clover.

Another photo of them.

Really? never seen an Australian shepherd. Only seen odd eyed spotty dugs that were Heinz 57. I gues that makes Ozzie Shepherds kinda like the Turkish Vans of the dog world!

Well. Now you've seen two of them!

Sirius is adorable. He has pink splotches on his nose and paw pads. He's my polka dot puppy. <3

And why is it called an Australian Shepherd when it was developed in the Western US?

Of course I'm awesome.(Contrary to what Godak says.) :P

My dad has a minor obsession with Australia, and aussie dogs. He refuses to get any other type of dog. And refuses to get anything other than a purebred aussie. But I think he's a bit weird for the latter part, personally.

It says in the wiki link.. But yeah. Aussies are herding dogs. They'll actually try to heard children sometimes. My older dog, Orion, used to herd my younger cousin and my godmother's daughters all into a corner. They thought it was fun.

Because the people who used them were sheepherders from Australia, apparently. Weird...Well, it's better than "Western United States Shepherd". Image IPB
