My dad has a minor obsession with Australia, and aussie dogs. He refuses to get any other type of dog. And refuses to get anything other than a purebred aussie. But I think he's a bit weird for the latter part, personally.

My Black Lab Ebony.  She just passed away this summer at around 14.  She was such a sweet girl.  Loved everyone and everything she met.  She tried to adopt a pair of moles when she was just a couple years old.  Carried them around like puppies.   Eby was smart to.  Had me pegged as the pushover of the family even as a puppy.  She knew that I couldn't yell at her, so she could get away with stuff, like using me as a teething ring.  Never did that to anyone else.
