Of course this has already been covered, but so now and then it's just plain fun to renew the fire in the discussion.

We actually have two (2) potential type of allies:

- NPC's (aka teammates): Will all of them stay loyal to you? The fact they are so many makes it unlikely, moreover that some have opposite interests. (Any further speculation I will leave to you, fellow gamers)

- Races/groups: In ME1 for example, Wrex clearly let's you know if you decide to leave to Rachni Queen alive: 'Mark my words, you will come to regret this'. Needless to say, clearly stuff fo rdebate.

In overall, we could say that in ME certainly not all noses point in the same direction, not the least due to different interests. The most important being Cerberus and the Alliance... Any thoughts anyone?Image IPB

As for races/groups:

Yeah, Krogans had bloody history with Rachni. But Wrex says it because if the Rachni are to be controlled again they will be hard to stop because Krogan won't be able to fight them.

Also, Krogan might have a "grudge" against Salarians and Turians, and might not be willing to cooperate with them.

Quarian/Geth conflict might play out in an interesting way, because many Quarians want to take advantage of the situation in order to "regain" the Geth. Beneficial for the Quarians, not for the Geth anyway who might just fall into the trap.

Alliance/Cerberus would be a real problem if Cerberus is resourceful as it's portrayed. And now since the Alliance is part of the united galactic force, this cooperation is far less likely.

I'm not sure there's very many who think that way.  From what Admiral Xen said and Tali's reaction, it sounded like hers was not a common viewpoint at all, and most quarians think the only options are to destroy the geth or to find another world to settle.

Not the impression I got from the experiments on the Alarei.

Tali probably tells you what she really thinks, but you can't know about the others (well, Koris aside).
