Actually I agree with vicious. Reason being I consider CC and dps separately. DW has better dmg, and 2H has better CC.

Without a DPS meter  (which this game doesn't have)  you're simply guessing.

The only thing we have to  measure damage  output with is the heroic accomplishments screen, which records it, however situational it may be.  But for the purposes of comparisons  it's the only thing we have

Here's my last 2-hander:




^click on it to get full screen.    Aside from  his greatest damage dealt of 254  (good luck ever accomplishing that with a dual wielder lol), it also shows the  total damage he's done:  391721.    Can you show me a dual-wielder that's done more?

@YrKoon: The screenshot is not there to prove if i'm right or if you're right. I wanted to show that it proves nothing. The dmg the char dealt is coloured by our own personal playstyle. Even the heroic achievements does not prove that a dw is better dpser.



As for topic, I was basing my opinion on my experience from playing a full str 2Her and a full cun dw.

I can show you  the specs of my last  Mage run.... and the damage numbers  would totally blow any warrior's  stats off the map.

um... no.  Will  gives you a big stamina pool.  it does not make your sustains cost absolutely nothing.

^ with his complete stats and equipment.   He's  wearing/doing absolutely nothing that would give him a  285 defense rating, either.   And we won't even waste time talking about his 328 attack score.

So you put up a hacked/modded character in an effort to "prove" that Dual-wielders do more damage than 2-handers.

I was kinda hoping for a more... honesty discussion, shall we say?

Just stop.  Rally affects your ALLIES, not you.  And it certainly doesn't give them +200  defense and  attack!  don't be silly.

Rally stacking through zoning does that. It is possible.

It's not a hack or a mod, it's a bug exploit, the rally talent stacks after each area transition if left constantly active, do it for a while and you can even go to 1000...

It rounded up to 100% after I was at 98% for a very long time. Once again game mechanics bug.

It doesn't take a DPS meter or end-game damage readout to know DW warriors will deal more damage... all you need to do is compare how quickly you kill certain enemies from two playthroughs.  Also, the comparison of a 100 damage swing to two 30 damage swings is wrong--I have a level 8 dw warrior wielding daggers that can do 30 damage a swing already.

Well two hand warrior dmg will improve alot with the new skills, aoe moves, should bring it more in line with dw warrior dmg.

most are right but the best armor in the game is Legions armor give you hp that you dont want but it give you more damage. and the highest armor with a prober helm you got 39 armor. over 300 hp and if you went all str. you will in the end reach 100 i think or close to it.



my lvl 21 warrior 2H did 83 dps with 80 str. and i waste some points on hp and willpower i also did't have berzerker so if you go pure STR. and berzerker i think you can reach 100 dps on a 2H warrior.
