Now is it just me this happens to? I press B to skip the dialogue. However the B button also actions the next line of dialogue, which is mental. So fairly often I press to skip on and accidentally action whatever the default next line is.
It's just me that happens to isn't it?
I really hope that for ME3 on the 360 they change the dialogue skip setup

Nope, you can't just be a passive listener. You need to talk as well. The interaction is why this game is an RPG and not a just a third person cover shooter.

I am not complaining about chatting. It just bugs me that the B button is used to skip the dialogue (on replays) but also actions the next dialogue line. So sometimes when you press B to move the conversation along, you can easily press the highlighted default dialogue tree when it comes up without noticing.

its the same thing on the pc, pressing space to skip can sometimes select the next dialog option automatically.
the skipping comes in handy for multiple playthroughs and skipping past long-winded convos, but i dont want to hit unwanted convo responses from hitting one too many times

Yeah, I don't need to hear about how "Shepard, I thought you was dead!" every time I meet a character and I don't want to hear Jack (aka the stupidest and worst character ever created) wants to blow up her childhood home.
