The reapers send Shepard back in time so he can't stop them, but Shepard freezes himself in North America. 1000 years later in Ontario, Canada he is found in an abandoned igloo, luckily this was before the reapers sent him back in time. This means that there are two Shepards running around, and the one who went back in time, will be Commander Shepard's companoin, he will be called Time Shepard. The LI will begin when they both realize that they have a lot in common, then they start switching eachother out for boring dinners with Tali, so they can go to a strip club with Garrus. Eventually they start their love off brushing it off as, it's not gay it's masterbation.
