- I'll let Jacob die because I find him generic and expendable, and it will add a bit of drama to the ending. Also, that way I make sure I won't see him in ME3 again. I'll let the rest survive.
As for my question, I'm wondering what the rest of you did with the Collector's base, keep it or blow it to hell? And why?
I'm playing mostly Paragon, so the obvious choice would be to blow it to kingdom come considering the risks and the ethics after finding out what happened on that base.
But plot-wise I think it's far more interesting to keep the base, what's there of use in that base? How will it's assets affect humanity's place in the galaxy? What will Cerberus do with it? Is it going to backfire on us?
In destroying the base you lose a key strategic advantage, although it's possible 'saver'. And you might ****** off TIM but his idea of larger picture extends to humanity only, not all races, so simplistically speaking he's a bad guy and defying his wishes would be a fairly traditional choice. It's more interesting to continue walking that grey line, maybe slightly farther than comfortable, even though you don't trust him and you don't consider yourself a Cerberus cronie.
Opinions?
