Looking on all these great portraits has me drooling. I actually thought "not too shabby" on my own until I started to see what actual good portraits looked like. Mine just plain suck.

On BrunoBolderfist, I'd say that I really like it. He looks sorta like he's got a black eye on the left, though, and I'm not a huge fan of that tattoo for some reason. I suppose that it upsets the general "facial balance" or symmetry.

Overall, 6/10. Definately above average, but not by much.

Based on myself, so the lack of sleep was one of the things i really wanted to transfer into this char.... as proven by being online and happily awake at 3.15..

As to _RedRiot

Beauty - 8/10. Nice face but a bit too heavy on the eye liner.

Expression - 7/10. Captures plenty of personality, just not sure if it fits the hair.

Sex Appeal - 9/10. If it wasn't for hair again, would definitely be amazing.

Overall - 8/10. Great looking though the tattoo...does it exist or is it merely an illusion? Would imagine you wouldn't lose her in a crowd either.

Lankey - Handsomeness - 8/10. Don't know why and how, but he's got something going there. Would have scored a 9 if it wasn't for that left eyebrow being too thin in the middle.



Expression - 7/10. A decent one, but not really special, and can be interpreted in many ways.



Sex appeal ... uhm.. 8/10 for the goatee and pin-sharp nose.



Overall - 8/10.

Handsomeness - 7/10 - He's old but I still has quite handsome features. No doubt he was quite the looker back in the day. The tattoos compliment him well too.



Expression - 7 1/2/10 - Interesting. He looks very intelligent. Like a wise sage who has done many studies over the past years.He looks like he may have a sense of chivalry and be quite charming. Though there is perhaps a slight hint of anger in his expression to? Maybe he is just worn/weary of the world.



Sex appeal - 7/10 - Being as old as he is he has probably lost some of the sex appeal he once had as a young lad. Still, there is a strange sort of appeal to him. He is kind of sexy in an older/intelligent/mature man kind of way, although he certainly doesn't look bad for his age. He definitely has the brains which many women desire but struggle to find in a lot of young men.



Funnyness 6/10 - I can see him having a very witty sense of humour and often at times making sarcastic retorts.



Overall - 8/10.



He looks like an experienced, wise sage and mage who knows much about the arts of magic. Although quite a few years have passed him by by now he still has handsome features and a charming personality by his side. Well done.

Handsomeness - 7/10 - He has a dark and powerful sort of appeal to him. His face is moderately handsome though it is hard to judge him fully as he is facing upwards. I think the tattoos add a LOT to him and his character and are very well done. They are a big part of what contributes to that dark/powerful look of his.

Expression - 6/10 - Fairly plain and serious. I think that suits him though as he does look like the kind of man who would be very smart and serious in nature. He is calm and collected but at the same time not someone who you would want to mess with lest you face the wrath of his powerful magic skills.

Sex appeal - 7/10 - Like I said earlier, he has a sort of dark and serious appeal to him, this adds to his sex appeal somewhat as you know he would be one to "get straight down to business" and not pull any strings when it comes to lovin' in the bedroom. lol. His bald head also contributes to his no-nonsense/devoted/loyal style. He is a man with power who may also secretly be sweet on the inside despite his dark exterior. And once again, the tattoo's are just plain cool.

Funnyness - 4/10 - This is where he lacks. He is no joker and wouldn't exactly be volunteering to say jokes or recall funny anecdotes over the camp fire. Luckily it suits him though. It does look like he may have a hint of dark humour in him however.

Overall - 8/10 - A serious and dark man who knows what many people do not know and has seen what many people should not see. He looks like he may have dabbled in the forbidden arts and magics quite a bit. He has a handsome face and a look that says both "intelligent" and "ominous", well done.

Beauty: 7.5/10 - There is something about the forehead/sellion/mouth ratio that is bothering me. Apart from that little flaw, she looks good though even if she isn't "my type".



Expression: 6/10 - Let it be known that it is not the woman's fault but the Character Creators. I find the "smiling" expressions to look more like the character just underwent a botox injection...



Sex Appeal 7/10 - Not really my type, but with some alcohol in my system, she'd rate a straight 10. And my male friends would agree.



Funniness: 7/10 - She looks quirky, I am sure of it. Like the kind of girl that would pester you with silly yet witty remarks and keep a straight face while doing it.



Overall 7.5/10 - A nice character portrait all in all. Well executed apart from some flaws in the Character Creator.

Beauty: 9.5/10 - I saw from your character page that her name was Rose, and I think it fits perfectly! She is very pretty. Honestly, I never liked that hairstyle because I thought it looked kind of greasy, but I actually love it on her. She looks very tough and wild yet feminine enough to be very attractive.



Expression: 9/10 - I agree with you on the smiling expressing on the CC. It completely distorts the lips. Just looks weird. I'd give you a 10 if there was a way to make her smile without it looking like a bad myspace photo.



Sex Appeal 7/10 - Not my type but very pretty either way!



Funniness: 5/10 - I don't think you were going for "funny" but as far as personality she seems very stoic.



Overall 8/10 - Some flaws in the CC expressions, and I suggest to zoom in on her face juuuust a little because there is too much empty space in the avatar. Otherwise, a very pretty picture!

Beauty: 8/10 - She has a unique look to her which I love. Despite the grey hair she still looks fairly young and looks like she packs a lot of pep. I love those eyes too, they say so much! She looks like she has a passion and ambition behind her.

Expression: 8/10 - She has a smirk which makes her look both badass and intelligent at the same time. For some reason I can imagine her getting on well with Morrigan, probably because they both seem to have a "bad girl with intelligence" look to them.

Sex appeal: 7.5/10 - Like I said, she has a unique and sassy feel to her. The red eyes, grey hair and light tattoos are definitely big contributors to this. She also looks cheeky/sexy/mischevous which can be a turn on to some guys.

Funnyness: 7/10 - I can tell that she has a sense of humour that is both smart, cheeky and snarky all in one. Her humour can be quite harsh at times but at the end of the day it's all just good fun.

Overall: 8.5/10 - A unique, intelligent, ambitious, cheeky, and at times rough and harsh girl who knows how to get her way. She looks good in the battlefield and cunning in her ways, she is also capable of charming the pants off of someone if she wishes. She is a diamond in the rough. Well done.

Beauty: 8/10, I can't say I like her hair color. It seems a little dull and washed-out. I don't really care for the color of her cheeks either. Other than that, I can't find anything wrong with her.

Expression: 7/10, I'm getting the impression she just drank two liters of Pepsi and is trying to hide it. She also seems like she is trying not to smile.

Sex Appeal: 7/10, She seems somewhat plain to me, and I really don't like it when they are. I'm somewhat unfair that way so I gave it an extra point.

Funnyness: 8/10, I think she is making up jokes about me and is silently laughing. She looks like the kind of person who would love doing that.

Overall: 8/10, While she seems a little plain to me, there is something about her that just exudes humor. I like that in a person.

First I have to quickly say to Golden Rose your avatar freaks me out! She looks exactly like my sister. If her hair was a little lighter it'd be like a picture.

HellfireNova: Very handsome. We could be brothers.

Obviously I have to give it 10's across the board but I may be biased. Ok to keep it in the rules though...

Beauty: 9 Strong lines all around. His hair does not complement his look. He seems like he's handsome but doesn't realize it or make use of it.

Expression: 9 Seems to have the hint of a frown like he is eternally disapproving. Which I actually like.

Sex Appeal: 7 He's good-looking but like I said he seems to not be aware of it and thus isn't using it to his advantage. He could be higher based on looks but not the vibe he gives off. He comes across as having more to deal with and do  than worry about sex appeal.

Fun: 3 Seems very serious with the weight of the world on his shoulders. Very appropriate but not fun.

Overall: 8 The person I imagine from the portrait is an interesting one that seems like a real person would in the world of DA:O dealing with all the crap he's going to have to. But he wouldn't be very fun to hang out with or watch do it.

Very nice color choices; it's an harmonious palette without being dull or monochromatic. The angularity is also appealing and makes the avatar stand out more. The features are generally attractive without being boring. I can see why you chose this angle, but it does throw the features slightly out of proportion and makes his hair look a bit silly.



Expression: 7/10

The affect of the image is one of slight anxiety--maybe it's the angle of the portrait, but he looks a bit worried about something. It's not a vanilla expression, nor is it irretrievably odd: it's close to the right amount of provocative, but I do get anxious on his behalf... it seems like there's a bevy of darkspawn waiting to gut him just outside the frame or something.



Sex Appeal: 10/10!

Well, he's totally my type--as you can probably tell from my avatar, I definitely go for the dark handsome sort. And pensive, we mustn't forget pensive. He's just the right mixture of enigmatic, handsome, and vulnerable.
