Angsty Alistair post-Landsmeet where Loghain is spared

This song is blocked in Canada. What is it?

Huh, who would've guessed.  Linkin Park's From the Inside

Found it on another video. Youtube is weird like that....
Wow. Yeah. That's exactly how angry Alistair is about that kind of betrayal. What a great song.

Ahaha, these are SO awesome!!! I've GOT to add mine now. Forgive me if they seem a tad unconvcentional. Image IPB
What code do you use to get different texts for the links? Is it the usual html code only with [ ] instead?

My FCousland PC (it just seems so fitting, considering the origin story)

Alistair Image IPB

Morrigan's attitude to life.

Or this, if you wanna get really corny.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92HjH1GG3ro

I dunno, but for some reason, I totally see this for Leliana. No naughty lyrics, but still kind of...Antivan? Orlesian?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFEfmbAeEDY

I'm surprised no one's done this one yet. It is SO Zevran (so he thinks, anyway).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5mtclwloEQl

Sten. The chorus is what says it all.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF5apksk_ps

I can't post the Oghren song 'cause of the lyrics, but it's "Too Drunk," by Buckcherry.

Wynne. Come on, this is totally justified, you've heard the comments she makes to Alistair and the others!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0VgnCiuFfA

And I haven't seen any for these two yet:
Shale (I'm sorry, I had toImage IPB)

Dog (I had to do this too)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJRCE6e2xIg

And a special theme song for the Fade and Redcliffe at night.

Hmm, Alistair directly post hardening, more directed towards Eamon, I think.  (Linkin Park's Numb if its blocked somewhere).  I think the lyrics are suitable, but maybe not quite the music.

Okay, another post-Landsmeet with Loghain song.  Why does Linkin Park work so well for this?  (In the End is the song).  The little bridge part towards the end, especialy.

That video makes me laugh and scares me a bit all at the same time...

I think the Imperial Death march would be cool for the cutscene when Eamon calls Landsmeet and Loghain, Howe, and Cauthrien all show up to his Denerim estate, all mighty pissed off. Though Loghain really needs dark colored armor, the silvery stuff just doesn't suit him.

Witchy Woman by the Eagles definitely fits Morrigan.

Turbo Lover by Judas Priest fits Zevran pretty well.

No Self Esteem by the Offspring suits Alistair, especially if you running around shagging everything in sight while he's trying to get the nerve to ask you in the tent.

Every Breath You Take by the Police is a Leliana song.

Ace of Spades by Motorhead for Oghren

Unforgiven by Metallica for Wynne

Hero by Ministry for Loghain. territorial Pissings by Nirvana also works for Loggy.

Them Bones by Alice in Chains for Sten. Good song for just killing stuff.

Hey Skadi, your words "good song for killing stuff" reminds me that "Die MF Die" would be a good Sten song...

Anything along the lines of "killing s***" works for Sten. In an orderly fashion, of course.

Can't do any better than mousestalker's suggestion for Leliana - that's on the nose.

Zev:  'Karn Evil 9' by Emerson, Lake & Palmer.

Sten:  likes to listen to Bach & Mozart, definitely, but for his theme song, something like 'This Is War' feels right to me.  But then I adore that song regardless.

Wynne:  Sinatra in all his monotone obnoxiousness.

Gotta think about the rest . . .

Noottttt sure if Origin characters count for this, but...

Anyone played a female Aeducan and "romanced" Gorim in the beginning? This song:  pretty much says it all for your poor little Princess when you meet him for the first time since your exile and he's peddling his FINE DWARVEN CRAFTS in Denerim.

I want you to know, that I am happy for you
I wish nothing but the best for you both
An older version of me
Is she perverted like me?
Would she go down on you in a Proving?
Does she speak eloquently
And she had your baby? Well
I'm sure she'd make a really excellent mother

'Cause the love that you gave that we made
Wasn't able to make it enough for you
To be open wide, no
And every time you speak her name
Does she know how you told me
You'd hold me until you died
Till you died, but you're still alive

Above are the actual lyrics. Honest. >.> <.<

*Sereda Aeducan heads to the Pearl, gets drunk and has weepy rebound sex with the ~Suprise Me~ dwarf instead*

GET OUT OF MY HEAD. I know you posted that the songs were reversed but I disagree, I think that song is excellent for Zevran as he changes through the relationship (and here I thought I was like, the only person who ever saw Treasure Planet). This is some less tender music for Zevran, though (ties in great with David Gaider's quote regarding him a few days ago, too) or this for general combat music (finesse!)

Leliana
Morrigan
Wynne
Alistair
Oghren
Sten (I picture him in Robert DeNiro's role in Stardust, for whatever reason)
Dog
Shale
Loghain
Anora

And of course, my PC, in regards to his relationship with his companions.

I definitely agree with the people who said Sten would probably favour classical music.

I think he would be delighted by Carl Czerny's "Schule der Geläufigkeit" ("School of Velocity"), a collection of compositions to train precision and finger strength, for example that one: www.youtube.com/watch

Sten - This song just works on every level for him

Zevran - Campness, androgyny, sexual ambiguity...leather. Can only be classic 80s for Zev

Oghren - Fits like a glove (warning: explicit lyrics)

Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) by Eurythmics. Marilyn Manson's cover could work but Zev seems like he'd enjoy the 80s so much more :P

Yep, these work, too. Very well. I think Linkin Park works because although it seems otherwise on the surface, Alistair may be the angriest character in the game, with the possible exception of Loghain. We really see that when he loses his temper. Linkin Park's repeating themes of trust and betrayal fit like a glove.

LOL, Im in ur hed, hijackin' yer thoughts!

Oh god, that is my favorite Disney Animated Movie next to "Beauty and the Beast", I am just shocked that a lot more people don't know about it.

But I agree, it's Zev's far more then Al's. I kept listening to it over and over, and yes, I retract my first statement. "I'm Still Here" IS Zevran.

I loved the other two songs you picked for him. The Second for combat music is perfect, both suave and dangerous.

Alistair- oh that is a perfect choice! Disney FTW!
Leliana- I loved that movie, and the classical french undertones are brilliant.
Wynne- ROTFL!
Oghren- I knew Toby was channeling someone.
Morrigan- oh definately catches her allure
Sten-
Dog-LOL that took me by surprise.
Shale- I'm dying here
Loghain- The Geico commercial ruined this song for me
Anora-You win at life for getting a Beastie Boys song in there!

Thanks, you're right, it's quite fitting.
And I agree, Zevran would enjoy the 80ies. It wouldn't work for Morrigan or Alistair, but a self-mocking character like Zevran - absolutely.
