If You Want Me To
What I've Done (Marié Digby cover of a Linkin Park song, though both versions work lyrically)
Black Roses Red (if you're romancing her)
I also think Evanescence's Like You is appropriate for a non-hardened, romanced Leliana in the case of an US ending. I realize the song was written related to the vocalist's sister, but aside from the line "Like you Sis" the lyrics could work from the point of view from a lover.

Sten: Definitely Rachmaninoff. How about Prelude Op. 3 No. 2 in C-sharp minor?
Morrigan: Easy. Garbage. "Only Happy When It Rains," of course.
Zevran: 80s pop for sure. Something dark. Something like "Tainted Love," which would certainly describe his past. Besides, Zev would totally own an album called Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret.
Oghren: classic rock, obviously. AC/DC's "If You Want Blood, You Got It" suits the modern dwarf berserker on the go, whether he's slaughtering darkspawn in the Deep Roads or getting plastered and wrestling a greased up nug.
Alistair: Because he's so Disney. And because (sorry, fangirls) he clearly needs it. This little ditty from Mulan.
Wynne: If she were a real person alive today, she'd reflect on life while listening to "Stuck Inside of Mobile With the Memphis Blues Again" with the PC, perhaps with a pint of Oghren's brew or additional aids ... because she's cooler than people give her credit for, and not the preachy schoolmarm some make her out to be. Heck, who wouldn't want to spend a night chilling with Wynne and listening to Dylan? Alternately, for an extremely un-Wynne song that points out her, ah ... problem ... there's always Rob Zombie with "Living Dead Girl."
Loghain: Does Ferelden have a national anthem? If not, how about the finale to Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture (with cannons, if at all possible)?
And for Shale? This. Because my head would make a lovely squishing sound.

rogueapprentice on LiveJournal made Leliana and Morrigan fanmixes a while ago. I don't know where the Morrigan one went, but a few of her Leliana picks that I think are pretty spot-on are:
If You Want Me To
What I've Done (Marié Digby cover of a Linkin Park song, though both versions work lyrically)
Black Roses Red (if you're romancing her)

What I've Done is perfect for Leliana, with Marie Digby singing it I can almost imagine that Leliana is singing lol

I thought so, too. Marie Digby seems very good. I'm going to have to give more of her stuff a try.

I should add that Forever by Queen is a great general Dragon Age theme, especially since someone made an awesome video for it pre-game release.

Radiohead - Videotape
Seriously the first chord of that song always gets me.
Radiohead - No Surprises
Morrigan would be all over this
Apocalyptica - Fade to Black (cover)
Apocalyptica - Ruska
Sanctuary (Angel Theme)
Or pretty much anything cello, if I was writing a theme for Morrigan it would have to be cello rock. Maybe I should O_o
And for Leiliana, something girly, but sweet, but sad, and these came to mind.
Blue - Angie Heart
Anything - Shawn Clement
This would be for some awesome suave rogue PC.
Rob Dougan - Speed Me Towards Death

Wow! Thanks for telling me who did the Angel theme! I went and found more of their stuff, and I like it a lot.
Really liked Apocalyptica, as well. Er, I can't help but notice that they're pretty darn attractive cello players, too.
I know what you mean about that Radiohead song, there's something about the way those notes are strung together that's utterly tragic.... I'll have to listen to the rest tomorrow.

I think cello is just about the most underappreciated instrument around, I hadn't heard the Angel theme for ages when I thought of it, nostalgiaerrant_knight wrote...

Sten - This song just works on every level for him
Zevran - Campness, androgyny, sexual ambiguity...leather. Can only be classic 80s for Zev
Oghren - Fits like a glove (warning: explicit lyrics)
I had the same song for Oghren! Lol!
I also LOVE the Linkin Park cover for Leliana. PERFECT!!!
I love how Within Temptation keeps popping up. One of my all-time FAVORITE groups. Now that we've deviated from main characters, I've gotta think of some...hmm...
The Fade (music from one of my other favorite video games)
Anora (I'm sorry, this is just my opinion of her.
Another Alistair song
Another Cousland song
Juggernaut Armor (I just needed an excuse to use this song, really...)
A modern-day conversation between Wynne and Oghren (warning: semi-explicit)
