This category works as well as any I suppose, since spoilers and the overall storyline apply.

I'm playing on an XBOX 360 and am wondering which game save slot will "Awakenings" and other future installments of DA import my game data from?

I have heard that the final autosave is what future games will draw from.  Is that correct?  I have a problem in that two game saves I have occupy Save slots 31 on the top, with the final Autosave one slot below it.  I saved the game in the final save slot (#31 on XBOX 360) since my PC survived in these, to replay through the final conversations with companions prior to greeting my adoring public and gaining access to the Epilogue cards.  I know this could be a problem because the top save slot probably doesn't show completion or the Epilogue viewed.  I say this because when I access this game to "resume play" I'm standing next to king Alistair in court ready to have my final conversations with companions, thus no Epilogue saved, although it actually occurred in the playthrough.  Correct or not?

I also have one game with Save slot 31 occupied on the top with the autosave slot below it showing Cadash Thaig (I hadn't completed Shale's quest prior to defeating the AD in this playthrough).  I am almost sure here that this captured the Epilogue data since I did find myself at the "crossroads" with the invitation to continue playing DLC, then headed back to camp and Cadash Thaig to help Shale.

The only game I have with the Autosave in the top slot is my sacrificial end, where I completed all DLC prior to the end and, of course, there is no opportunity to save after defeating the AD and no NPC interaction in court afterwards.

If I have to replay the Archdemon fight to have the autosave as the last save for any of these run-throughs, I'll do it to have the proper game data ready for future games.

I just want to make sure I get this right for my each of my 4 playthroughs.  Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.

My understanding is its whatever save file you choose to import. It might draw from "most recently played" like the "Resume" button at the starting menu draws from, but even then all you have to do is load up a file and make manual save, then import that from Awakening.

The devs had said for a fact that you don't need a completed game in order to play Awakening, so the fact that you don' t have epilogue saves shouldn't matter - though if that plays wonky games with decision importing, I'm not sure.

I would imagine they give you a choice as to exactly which savegame you would use, whether you've finished or not.
