I wasn't really sure whether this would be classed a technical issue or not, so I apologise if I posted this in the wrong place.

Basically, I know there's been a lot of talk about importing your ME1 character into ME2, but I was curious about my ME2 save. My question is as follows..

I've completed two playthroughs of ME2. I recently bought myself an Xbox360 Elite. If I take the ME2 gamesaves and move them onto my new HDD, will I be able to select "import an existing ME2 character"? Remember, I said ME2, not ME1.

I assume that my ME2 gamesave has already imported the ME1 data and should therefore be okay, or would moving the ME2 gamesave pose the same issue that ME1 did when you import to ME2?

Any insight would be appreciated and once again, I'm sorry if this was in the wrong place.
