Ah yes, "females". We've dismissed that claim...

Why are there no Collector, Volus, Turian, Qu..., Drell, Krogan or Batarian females in the game? Actually, the only species with females in the game are the humans and quarians. Discuss!

Does the voice and body structure not give it away?
Also, I think it's because many species seem to be envisioned with a particular gender in mind.

Yep, in MW1 we saved or destroyed a Rachni Queen... Queen usually means female in the biological sence...

Collectors are gender neutral so and it'd be hard to make gender differences out of insectoid looking things anyway.. the abscence of female husks when heretics or collectors wouldn't bother discriminating when it comes to zombie armies is again, pure laziness. More models = actual work.

No that is the envoy for the female camp, I am pretty sure its a guy.
Edit: When Grunt tells me about Shiagur I figure I would eventually run into female Krogan warriors. But that story is pre-Genophage I think. Now it seems like protecting fertile females is the top priority, so an alien may never see one.

As for Bioware reusing old textures it kind of makes sense, they're just minimizing storage space on the disks so they can cram the giant EA logo in... hopefully we'll see more textures and more models in ME3.

Because BioWare are lazy. If you look at all the alien npcs aside from the Asari they're all just recolours of each other anyway. Most obvious with the Quarians, aside from Tali their suits are palette swap city.

Work costs money and time. Time and money are, unfortunately, not infinite. It has nothing to do with "laziness."

Nope, it's laziness.
I can buy this for the first ME. New IP, new game, don't know if it'll be a success.
But in ME2? Come on, we're supposed to get a feel that people are being turned into Husks. Since human colonists and soldiers aren't 100% made up of men, I just don't get that feeling.
Also I want to see Turian females damnit, it doesn't make sense to make such a huge issue out of the Asari being monogendered when you make all the others virtually monogendered too.

I believe that, in ME1, there is a female salarian in the consort's chambers. I'm guessing this because 'she' wears a pink dress and all other acolytes are female as well (presuming asari are female). Call me sexist.
You're sexist, I'm pretty sure that Salarian is a.. *ahem* customer.
