She is dalish though but quite a buxom girl just like Morrigan was.
Uh, don't all females in Dragon Age share the same boobays?

As such I don't really know if they would be considered apostates or if the chantry even cares. They probably do and they probably are considered apostates, but I dunno. Depends on how different the magic really is.

In this context, it might be more appropriate to say that the mystery grows.
At least, that's what I'd prefer.

The only thing that bothers me about Velanna is her hair. Did they HAVE to give her Morrigan's hair? Morrigan was the only female with a unique hairstyle. Now she suddenly isn't. :|
Mostly just irritates me because I have to remake a new character since I have that hairstyle modded in. And I used it on my HNF.

And the truth surfaces! It's not that they stole Morrigan's hair, it's that you stole it first.

Some groups, such as the Dalish, are, for all intents and purposes, outside of the jurisdiction of the Chantry and the Circle, and will carry on their own magical traditions. A Dalish Keeper has considerably different training than a Circle Mage, as their tradition is supposedly based on the old elven magics. A Keeper typically has a First, the Dalish term for an apprentice. ~wikiMystranna Kelteel wrote...

I wouldn't even call her a mage more like druid to me.Morrigan's hair style looks cool on the elf, but i have to agree with you it was a uique hairstyle. they should have just giving her a new hairstyle.

I think the hair and the fact that she's a mage is causing some speculation that she could be another "Morrigan" for the OP.
Also, the fact that they both have chesticles.

She's kind of taking Morrigan's mold, but shaping it in her own way.
But don't all of the females share the same mold?
Yes, yes, I used the same joke just a few posts ago, sue me!

One of the reasons the Dalish have to constantly move around is that the Templars know that their leaders are all mages and so hunt them. They care.
