Hi there,
Two weeks ago, I downloaded the Character Creator and had to register on here, the Bioware Social Network (BSN). When I bought the retail game last thursday I logged in, and entered my promo codes through the username I already had. All my promo's however did not appear in the game. Also I couldn't view my game progression stats.
When I checked this morning, I could view the game statistics, but it seems I'm on a totally different account. When I log in with my Screen name I get my old account with the promo's, when I log in with my email I get my game related account. Is there a way to merge these two? I would very much like to download my promo's, but in game you can only log in with email.
My old screenname (with promo's) = Jeroen82
My new screenname apparently = jayembee_1 (which is the first half of my email adres)
Appreciate any help.

just login on here with the new screenname and delete this account. You can check under Profile>Your Registered Game Promotions to make sure there are no DLC attached to the account. If you registered your game to the new account, simply unregister it. Then simply login with the old profile here and correct your email address.

I deleted the new account, the one without DLC, tried to log back in... but it says my old screenname is already in use. I don't get a window to let me claim it. It just says "Username already exists" When I log back in with the game, it again forces me to use this screenname, I can't even pick one.

Do you know what email address is associated with your old screen name? In other words, can you log in to ea.com with Jeroen82?

And this is my account with the DLC enabled, yet it is not connected to the game.

Do you also have an existing BioWare account? ie. Can you login here:
http://forums.bioware.com/
The problem I think is similar to one I had earlier. I had a different name associated with ea and bioware. They merged and well. You can imagine the state of things.. What I had to do to fix mine was get everything matching ( email and passwords on bioware and EA ) . Then delete the account here ( the one that was wrong ). I then cleared all my cache cookies etc. Come back to the site and create a new account. It will ask you what account you want to use. ( Bioware, EA, or new ) . If the DLC is associated with EA login then choose that and hope for the best. I think it forces you to use your login name from EA, but that's the best I can offer. Aside form contacting customer support and having them do it.

Wait... I didn't realize that. You shouldn't be able to have two accounts here with the same email address. Are you sure the Jeroen82 and jayembee_1 have the same email address listed in your profile settings?

Yes, well.. there was a slight mistake there... I made a typo on http://forums.bioware.com/ but I fixed it now... cleared my temp internet files and other cache, but still no luck.
Edit: Wait... now I see that the typo has manifested itself on this account as well.... but on the BSN I can't change my email address...

If you goto EA.com and login to their support site you can change your email there. It changes it on all associated sites. I just tried it with mine and it worked fine. Just log out of here and then log back in after the change. If the jayembee_1 has the email address you need you'll have to change it first to something else.

Yes.. well... I have changed my actual ea account in another email address, and changed the new ea account in this email address. I can't seem to merge them, but it doesn't matter. Its solved like this. Geez, what a lot of stuff for a simple typo. I can download the Stone Prisoner and other stuff now... Thank you very much for all your help.
