I own and have successfully installed the standard ME 2 PC edition, activated the Cerberus Network and established my profile. However, I just recently bought from Amazon.ca the ME 2 PC Collectors Edition. I wanted the extras and the collectors armor and weapon.

Do I have to uninstall the standard ME 2 PC edition and unregister the game to redeem the Collectors Edition code in order to get the collectors armor dlc or can I just redeem the code from the website?

I am a little concerned about uninstalling what I have already established as my Collectors Edition card has the 1688108 code on it and I don't want to be stuck not getting back on to the Cerberus Network. I am honest and want to do the right thing. Please advise.

You should be fine both editions have the exact same game. You should be able to use the code but I'm not 100%. If you want to be safe call Bioware.

Uninstall? No. Both editions have the same game, the extras are additional DLCs. You don't have to unregister your game. You have now a second cd key & Cerberus you can gift someone. A friend maybe.



Yes, you can just redeem the Collector's stuff. Yes, it's that easy.
