Anyone know? And is it true the Incisor doesn't lose damage if a squadmate uses it?

It is weaker per shot than the Viper, but it fires in a three shot burst. I am also pretty positive it does not suffer from squad mate damage penalty, as Garrus and Thane mow through btches on Insanity while I barely have to do a thing.
