I downloaded the expansion packs using my hdd on a different box. I don't have internet.
When I got home and tried playing I got a message telling me that the downloaded content was corrupt and that I need to try redownloading.
Well I brought my xbox up and connected to xbox live, and fired up the game. Now the expansion packs worked. I figured that maybe it grabbed some missing file or something and that I would have no further problems, so while connected I played a little bit, went and got the stone gollum as a companion, and went back to camp and saved. Mind you all I need to do is tie up a few side quests and call the lands meet.
Well when I go back home and fired it up, I got the same message. The downloadable content is corrupted and I need to redownload it.
Awesome, my save file takes the expansion information into account. I just lost 7 hours or so between that save and my most recent save before before the expansion that is usable.
I have been trying to redownload the expansion. I have deleted Dragon Age from the hard disk, and am back to playing off the dvd, but still no luck.
I have to be connected to live to get all the **** I paid for to work.
I am not happy.

Yeah.. I'm not sure about this but what I think you'll need to do is use your xbox and your hard drive to download the dlc.. then that maybe will allow you to play the dlc offline.. I think the problem was you said you downloaded using someone else's box originally so the offline play would be tied to that box? Not sure. It's been awhile since i've played. There have always been issues with the DLC and offline play I think..
