Just curious who's used it.

If you're in an open level its a death sentence for humanoid enemies as they're sent flying off the map. Its quick, its dirty, its awesome and underrated. Definitely should be used by every adept as a KO move.

Pull/throw is great fun
fatal a good portion of the time, and watching targets fly across the sky makes it worth it even if they get up afterwards.

hmm it's probably an effective combo but I will admit that I succumb to the singularity + warp combo... maybe pull + warp, but mostly reserved throw for the reaper iff mission.

Depends - are you using heavy throw or just low level throw?
Heavy throw combined with pull would most of the times insta-kill mooks even without ledges.

I dunno, just wondering whats the best mix. Take Area Pull and Area Throw to get multiple enemies hit?

Depends on your difficulty level I suppose - you probably won't find a situation where you can area pull->throw field many enemies in the highest 2 difficulties since you have to strip their defenses first.
Area pull is always the best one to use - either you max pull to area pull or just leave pull at lvl 2 (for better duration).

It's very good when used in levels where there's no ceiling..(or high ceilings). You can send them off and never see them again.
Pull field is good but not throw field. I always cant find my enemies after a throw field cause it's like a radius thing. Heavy throw is more directed.

Pull+Throw is a good and cheap alternative against undefended enemies to the otherwise superior Singularity+Warp because of the shorter cooldown.

On Insanity you should probably only put one point into throw, this is sufficient for throwing over ledges. High level throw does not enough damage as far as I know.

On Insanity, a single use of Heavy Throw with upgrades will kill just about half of a Collector Drone Barrier on the Suicide Mission. On Hardcore, the percent damage is higher, of course. With a powerful enough Throw, you won't always need Pull for the insta-kill. It's tough to just lay out the distances, but you get a feel for it the more you use it.

I think your better off with pull and warp.

I prefer warp because you can use it to blow MOBs up and damage other mobs. Singularity is good too cause even if a MOB has defenses on singularity will actually stop him from attacking by making it hard to stay standing.

I found that Singularity (heavy or wide) or pull plus concussive shot will achieve the same effect.

On my insanity run I find that once my singularity grabs a stronger enemy like a krogan and my warp is on cooldown I can use throw from a teammate and that pretty much will kill em'.

It depends though - if you prefer the game to be slow due to warp detonation, then you're good.shnellegaming wrote...

Most of the adept players just get bored of the pull/singularity -> warp detonation -> wait for cooldown spam though.
Throw enables the adept player to be much more active throwing powers.

I like to use both Miranda's (maxed out) Slam and Throw/Pull at the same time. Hers is instant and yours sends a ball of dark energy at them which means they get thrown around a bit.
