Hello everyone,

I am a level 8 elf mage and I still haven't found/heard in the game where I am suppose to go to specialize my mage at level 7. I want to spec in spirit healing. Where do I go?

If i remember correctly you can get the manual at denerim's  wonder of thedas shop to unlock the specialization..

I haven't met wynne yet, but is it possible to get the specialization from her?

Do I also get the Arcane Warrior specialization from Denerim?

Spirit Healer you get from Wynne, Arcane Warrior you get during the quest series where you help the Dalish Elves

No, Arcane warrior is only available from The ruins in the Forest...You have to find the gem..phylactary.

Also...you don't exactly have to help the elves...thats just one of the options.

Strangely enough, Wynne doesn't even offer to teach spirit healing. Is there some sort of pre-requisite to get it to show as an option?

Wynne haven't offered to teach anything, but I have already finished her special quest. I suppose the only way is to get that book (which I actually did).

Arcane Warrior: Forest



Spirit Healer: books in Wonders of Thedas and from Levi at Soldiers peak. Also, apparently Wynne can only teach the spirtit healer specialization on the console versions(can't confirm, I bought the manual).

No, Wynne does not teach spirit healing on the console versions. I'm on the 360. She doesn't teach on this either. You must buy the book. She does not teach it. (I know it's counter intuitive.) But she does not ever teach it in anyone's game. So I was informed by a dev. Buy the book.
